Reinforcing Steel State of the art machines are used to produce straight bar, bent shapes, spiral hoops, and anchor bolts for inventory as well as custom orders. Fabricating rebar shapes and straight lengths from coils minimizes waste, improves production and ensures Alamo Iron Works of being a low cost producer. This results in savings and exceptional service for our customers.
Steel Service Center AIW purchases large amounts of carbon steel from mills and offers it in smaller quantities for individual resale. We warehouse a wide range of products, including merchant bars, carbon steel, structural shapes, plates, sheets, tubing and pipe. Specialty items such as bar grating and expanded metal are also available.
Delivery Service When your order is ready, we can deliver it right to your door. AIW currently has 14 trucks and 17 flatbed trailers at its disposal to distribute steel products over a large part of Texas. Our customers have grown used to seeing famillar faces as 50% of our drivers have been making AIW steel deliveries for well over 15 years. The I-35 corridor between San Antonio and Austin generally receive deliveries on a daily basis and most customers outside of that will have a truck available to them at least twice a week.
