She moved to Rockport and became enthralled with the "dances" of the egrets, herons and other shore birds. Soon she became obsessed with photographing these magical creatures; their movement and graceful lines, personalities and interactions. She describes her photography as eclectic, "I love the muted tones of a seascape on a foggy day, the vivid saturated color of a tropical flower and the stark graphics of a black and white." The Rockport Center for the Arts hosted her solo show "All Wet". Sally has been in many juried shows, photos being accepted by VIREO (Visual Resources for Ornithology) and also published in "Global Birding" by Les Beletsky. This featured photographer displays her work in the Wind Way Gallery at 203 S. Austin St. in downtown Rockport (361)790-8331 and Rockport Center for the Arts, at their new location in downtown Rockport.
