What is Geocaching? Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. Go to www.geocaching.com to get started.

What is the Harlingen Parks & Recreation Geo-Quest? Harlingen is using Geocaching to take you on a tour of our city. Multiple geocaches have been hidden around Harlingen and if you find enough of them you can log them in a “passport” and then redeem that for a collectible coin. For more information call (956) 245-1222 or go to our website www.myharlingen.us, click on the Parks and Recreation tab and then find Geo-Quest.
