These are three selected projects while working with and leading a very talented team at PACE architects, engineers + planners; located in Kuwait City. The staff, mostly young, where from everywhere on the planet. Key design and technical staff from Kuwait were complemented by colleagues from Jordan, Egypt, Syria, India, the Philippines, Spain, Lithuania and the UK. Included are a large urban greenery research park, a hotel expansion and a concept for a new maternity hospital. Parametric canopies, rammed-earth structures, ETFE envelopes and curtain walls laminated images of marble are on display.
