CLEVELAND CLINIC TORONTO BCE Place / Toronto, Canada 2006 The design team of URS Healthcare/Cleveland worked to create an environment that was innovative, light-filled, and which exemplified a restrained elegance throughout.

Occupying the entire 30th floor of the eastern tower, the Cleveland Clinic Canada sought to exude the best that American healthcare has to offer. Technical skill, professional expertise, and the latest in high-tech equipment were to nestled within a sophisticated hospitality environment expressed through a consistent design aesthetic and gracious customer service.

Care Alliance Health Center . Community Based Health Care / Non-Profit . Cleveland, OH Start Construction 7/15/2013 30,000sf $7.2m LEED SILVER

Care Alliance is part of a growing movement toward community-based healthcare.

Established in 1985 to service the homeless and indigent, C.A.’s mission has expanded to provide health and dental care to the residents of the Cleveland Municipal Housing Authority.

This project, their first new building, creates an opportunity to establish an iconic architecture for this worthy endeavor while establishing a much needed base amidst the residences of those they serve.

Without the luxury afforded by a large budget, the strategic use of glazing is used in conjunction with the stainless steel Millennium Tile-clad skin of the featured, second story. The hues within the Blue Slate color palette have a subtle range from light to dark, blue to sepia, to create a wall surface with great depth and dispersed light reflectance.

CLEVELAND CLINIC WESTLAKE, OH FAMILY HEALTHCARE CENTER Westlake, OH Unbuilt 100,000sf $35m Planned to be an anchor to Phase III of Crocker Park outside of Cleveland, a premier lifestyle center, this project will never be built.

However, it serves as an example of elegant modernism, complete with a double glazed curtainwall system.
