We believe that by providing innovative technology in the telecommunication sector, we are able to improve the quality of life of Indonesian people. Indonesia has been one of the most important markets. Indonesia is not only the fourth biggest country in the world with GDP growth by an average of 6%and named as one of the fifteenth largest economy in the world, more importantly, the country presents the most complicated urban wireless environment; thus, customers have high requirements for network quality and services. Therefore, we are pushing ourselves beyond the limit, to become the most supportive and innovative partners for enterprise and government in conquering this great challenge. ZTE Indonesia. In January 10th, 2010, ZTE partnered with Smart Telecom, and Qualcomm, to launch the world’s first commercial EV-DO (Evolution Data Optimized) Rev.B network in Indonesia. ZTE landed the biggest contract for IPTV network with Telkom Indonesia under UseeTV Cable brand. In the partnership, ZTE supports Telkom Indonesia in the construction, operation, and maintenance of a low-bit-rate IPTV network from 2013 to 2016. ZTE provides IPTV system equipment; including high definition (HD), standard definition (SD) and low bit rate devices, as well as STB;, and also its services; such as operating, maintaining, as well as hosting the equipment, and also providing end-toend network optimization.
ZTE deployed its first Smart Hospitality Solution in Harris Hotel Bukit Jimbaran, Bali, in 2014. Harris Hotel Bukit Jimbaran in Bali uses ZTE’s WLAN product with wall mounting wifi WE2012 AP. This product not only offers the latest technology to the hotel, but also improves the aesthetic of hotel interior.

ZTE’s Ultra-Broadband Internet Service for MNC Kabel Mediacom Wins Telecom Asia Awards 2014
Indonesia’s first ultra-broadband connection from MNC Kabel Mediacom utilizes ZTE’s GPON and FTTx technology. Using ZTE’s technology MNC Kabel Mediacom is able to offers internet connection with speed that can reach up to 200 Mbps. Such speed helps the company to provide a more diverse and interactive user experience. This project wins Telecom Asia Awards 2014 for FTTx Project of The Year.
Partners with Telkomsel, Indonesia’s Largest Mobile Operator
ZTE Supports Telkom Indonesia in Java Major Backbone Network Upgrade
ZTE’s converged dense wavelength division multiplexing/optical transport (DWDM/OTN) solutions are being deployed to upgrade Java backbone network with the next generation technology. The upgrade will enable Telkom Indonesia to increase their network capacity by 10-fold, which in the end will help them to deliver a superior user experience to subscribers.
ZTE signed LTE contract with Smartfren to be implemented in 2015
ZTE started cooperation with Telkomsel since 2008. Our advanced Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology which can seamlessly upgrade from 2G/3G service to LTE, greatly reduce the network construction cost for Telkomsel. Now more than 3000 SDR BTS has been deployed in North of Sulawesi, which supports download speed up to 21Mbps by HSPA+ service, creating high speed data experience to customers. Convinced by our advanced technology as well as fast, high quality delivery capability, Telkomsel and ZTE has signed another 3 years framework contract in August 2013. ZTE is also the largest provider for Telkomsel USO project, which deliver telecommunication services to the people in rural villages and outer islands.

ZTE Care Since its first establishment in Indonesia, ZTE has been involved in many social activities aimed in four sectors: disaster relief, environmental preservation, education support, and other social sector.
In response to the West Sumatra earthquake in 2009, ZTE Indonesia and Asia Pacific provided necessary reinforcement in the form of emergency life kits such as; Emergency Rescue Center facilities, tents, first aid kit, life saving equipment, rescue apparel, medicine, blanket and food for the region to deliver benefits to the victims. The contribution was aimed to speed up recovery process after the disaster. In 2014, following the Jakarta’s flood disaster that happened in early 2014, PT. ZTE Indonesia donated 10 water pumps as a commitment to help Jakarta’s government in the flood relief activity.
In the environmental preservation front, ZTE has donated more than 3000 trees for ‘One Man, One Tree’ campaign in Indonesia. In November 2014, ZTE collaborated with MNC Group, the largest and the only integrated media, broadcasting, entertainment and telecommunication group in Indonesia, to held an activity, as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, with the theme “Gerakan 1000 Biopori” or “1000 Biopores Movement”. The objective of this program is to help raise the awareness of Jakarta people to protect and preserve their environment, which in turn would be able to prevent flood that frequently happened in the city.
In the education field, ZTE is fully committed to provide knowledge transfer, also by improving the competitiveness of Indonesian students and professional network engineer in the global market through various partnerships with education instances, such as committed in the establishment of Innovation Lab in one of the leading university and LTE technology workshops in Bandung in 2011. Over the year the company has trained more than 500 local network engineers.
As a manifestation of our support for the implementation of ICT-based education, in December 2014 ZTE donate equipment for E-Education pilot project at SMPN 30 Jakarta.
As their contribution in social sector, ZTE took the momentum of World Children’s Day in 2012 by collaborating with Yayasan Sayap Ibu in helping the children that needs special care.
