Ann Moeller Steverson’s paintings, inspired by her study of meditation, depict the human form and seek to capture universal experiences and interstitial moments of pause. Austin Uzor
Born in the eastern part of Nigeria in the year 1991 Austin Uzor hails from Imo state. Uzor trained as a draftsman and painter and has a studio practice setup around this bedrock. He explores the world of the unknown by means of delving into psychological spaces, feelings, and alternate realities in search of existential truths. He moved to the US in 2016 and this move is now the subject of his most current body of work and narrative, focusing on the traumas of being displaced. Adam Holzrichter Adam Holzrichter is a narrative representational painter. While he is a Chicago area native, he spent the bigger part of the last decade surveying American culture by traveling and living across both coasts. Largely this began as an effort to subvert a suburban-midwest-Jehovah’s Witness upbringing’s influence over his ideas of morality, love, and human behavior. Today he lives and works in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. Adam paints primarily from life to wind up somewhere between direct representation and fantasy. Often themes aim to elicit a sympathetic response, in order to encourage sincere private moments between the works and their viewers.
