Whenever I have out of town guests, they are always surprised by the number of amenities I have within walking distance.

We walk to shops, breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, not to mention wonderful bakeries. It is a short walk to Harris Teeter, the post office or CVS, and there are always good crowds out and about when the weather is nice. It is a short drive to uptown Charlotte where there is plenty to see and do. I have very nice neighbors, and we have an annual block party. There is a community park close by and Veterans Park is only a short walk away. The neighborhood is great for dogs as well, and I have so enjoyed walking my dog around in such a peaceful area without having to worry about traffic. I love watching my hydragea and azaleas bloom, and sitting on the back porch sipping wine, or rocking on the front porch and visiting with neighbors as they walk by.
