Welcome to our peaceful getaway. Whether you are wanting to unwind from a hard day of work or catch up with the neighbors on current events, our home boasts the best of both worlds. We moved here 3 years ago with our small family. Immediately we felt accepted into this beautiful community that is Settlers’s Landing. Everyone is so helpful and caring yet there is enough space and the neighborhood is well established that you never feel like you are being overwhelmed. You always feel cared for and supported. When we first saw our house we knew it was the one! We could see our children playing safely in the front yard and we envisioned ourselves sipping our coffee by a fire pit in our private backyard. These visions came to life right when we moved in and we have relished every memory we have made here. Both of our children grew up in this house and it has been so exhilarating to watch them play in their large and spacious rooms and build forts in the playroom with the couch cushions. We enjoy family dinners at our farmhouse table in the formal dining room and grab breakfast while watching the birds playing in the backyard. The quiet cul de sac allows our kids a safe place to learn to ride their bikes or take a spin on their scooters while we watch from the shade of the large oak trees. Our house has been a place of comfort and tranquility. During the day we have tons of natural light that streams in through the large windows and at night a soft glow from the street lamps sooth our children to sleep. The best part of our home is it’s perfect blend of hometown access with the beauty of nature. On the weekends we pop on over into downtown Matthews to grab a Pizza from Pizza Peel, a coffee from Brakemans or a craft beer to go from Carolina Beer Temple. The local town is friendly and convenient and our favorite place for a Saturday date night!
