The 58th United States National Election is not only controversial but hits home significantly for Canadians. After November 8, 2016 when Republican Donald Trump is elected as the new US president, defeating Democrat Hillary Clinton, many Americans and Canadians alike reacted differently based on his platforms and everything he said prior the results was announced. For many Canadians, there United States is not just a neighbouring south but an ally and trade partner. In few months and years, here are the areas we Canadians must keenly observe and guard.

Many housing analysts wouldn’t predict the impact of Trump’s presidency, however, for those who already see Canada as an attractive, stable place, the U.S. election could heighten that perception, said Royal LePage CEO Phil Soper. Trump and Global Climate Change Trump vowed to back the United States out of the 2015 Paris agreement, a landmark international climate treaty aimed at curbing emissions and limiting global temperature increases.Trump has also pledged to revive the coal industry, relax restrictions on polluters, and expand exploration and drilling for fossil fuels.Trump leadership also commits together almost 200 nations to reduce greenhouse gas

emissions with a goal of limiting global temperature increases to under 2 degrees Celsius. Let’s wait and see.
