INTERNET PACKAGE INFORMATION: Residential Internet service requires an active Conway Corporation broadband cable line to your residence. Residential service also requires DOCSIS 2.0 or greater cable modem which may be leased from Conway Corporation or provided by customer. Multiple computers will require a hub or switch. Internet requirements: Operating System: Windows XP/ Vista/7 or Macintosh OS 10.4 or greater • Hardware: Properly installed and configured 10/100 Mb Ethernet Adapter Card. These are available from all local computer stores as well as through mail order. • TCP/IP protocol services properly installed and configured • Active cable outlet within 5 feet of computer. The following will function with Conway Corporation Broadband; however, they will reduce or eliminate Conway Corporation’s ability to provide support: a non-Microsoft based operating system, a software or hardware based proxy or firewall server, cable splitters, routers, switches and hubs. All Internet packages for one computer include up to 6 E-mail accounts, 1 FTP account and 25 megabytes of non-commercial web page storage. TELEPHONE PACKAGE INFORMATION: Residential Telephone service requires an active Conway Corporation broadband cable line to your residence. Residential service also requires Multimedia Terminal Adapter (MTA) which is provided by Conway Corporation with your package. There must be an active cable outlet within 5 feet of the MTA. Conway Corporation telephone service does not support 900 numbers or collect calls.
