My house is located at Täby around a villa district. The aim was to increase housing in Stockholm by building on land owned by someone else, this way housing would increase with maximum use of property. The land owner could either sell or rent his property. My inspiration came from this circumstance and from my own personal life . I tried to create a generous house for one or two students, with courteos, non extravagant touch on this shared land. Just like a butterfly, the house was supposed to be gentle without any harsh intervention on the ground, It was going to be spacious and cheap. These were my primary criterion. My references were taken from Shigeru Ban and his use of Cardboardtubes on different edifices.

Polytherane-finished Cardboard tube with insulation inside

Constructional Modell 1:100 Timber purlins are placed on the Cardboard tubes, the whole structure is then covered with Polycarbonate roof cladding.

Metal joints to hold the tubes together Special designed metal joints where 3 cardboard tubes meet. The cardboard tubes tilt in defferent angles to the highest point on the roof, where they are held together by these metal joints. Every row of tubes functions as a structural membrane.

Tubes attach to the ears of the metal joints on each side. The two ears are capable of rotating 360 degrees; this way the tubes can tilt in any desired angle and be met with the metal joint.

Black Sea

This project is placed within the edge of the mountain chain of the Yoros Castle, Istanbul. Providing a natural, silent environment. People can use the openings on the walls as seating areas and enjoy the view of the black sea.The project aims towards harmony with the surrounding nature. The main idea and aim of the project is to provide a safe interior environment within the forest that would allow users to dare enjoy the nature on the edge. therefor the interaction between the interior and exterior becomes the core of my design process.

Exploring the potentials of connecting the inside with the outside becomes possible with the porous openings on the walls which provide a direct connection from the interior to the exterior environment.

The Balconies project A renovation project KTH Royal Institute of Technology 2016

A brutal exterior This is a renovation project; the building is to be transformed from an office space to a luxury hotel.

The clients major concern are the balconies.This is a balconies project. transformation from brutalism to something softer.

With the help of my french balconies I believe the fasad will gain a softer and more welcoming look whilst maintaining its brutal concrete seriousness behind aswell.

The Water Cycle the sun heats the water untill it vaporizes and then rises to the sky and creates clouds. the clouds falls than down as rain/snowfall.

In stillwater dirt can separate from clean water through gravity which which helps particles and pollutants fall to bottom.

Moreover Roots, worms and insects helps to loosen the soil and increase the possible volume for storing water.

From these surfaces, water needs to drain to avoid overflow.

This project is based in an industrial area in Poble Nou, aimed to house 240 people.

The hardcore of the industrial era is the core inspiration of this project.

To aim and keep the essence of the surrounding, whilst bringing the missing greenery, accomodating privacy but also welcoming glances of the inside greenery, to inspire and to bring colour to its surrounding.
