Jimmy Headrick, PGA was recently awarded the prestigious Dr. John and Helen Moore Distinguished Service Award at the 2018 Kelly Gibson Foundation Annual Awards Banquet. This award is given to an individual who has dedicated their life growing and developing the game of golf in the New Orleans area. The Tommy Moore Memorial Junior Golf Championship is held annually in conjunction with the AllState Sugar Bowl. The event is presented by the Kelly Gibson Foundation. The Gulf States PGA has recognized Headrick numerous times. They include: • Two-time Gulf States PGA Youth Player Development Award • 2008 PGA of America National Youth Player Development Award • 3-time U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Best Junior Golf Instructors in

America • Inducted to the Gulf States PGA Hall of Fame his first year of eligibility Headrick is Tour Director for the U.S. Kids Golf “Gulf Coast” Tour and in 2017 was named one of the Top 4 Directors in the Country. He is a golf coach for Holy Cross High School in New Orleans and resides in Slidell with his wife Carol.
