Greenwoods Early years school situated in Whitefield bangalore is a school that caters to the foramtive years as per the updated Education policy of goverment of India, It is an institutional project comprising a vaulted roof with murals and paintings all over the place. The place is designed as an interactive space for kids and adults as well, With many innovative mood boards and other sensory engaging elements that uplift he childs mind and curiosity
The Vaulted roof of the structure has a rather welcoming and quirky apperance to the entire site. making it a very interesting and challeging design to design and Execute
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES HANDELED :
I was the Project Architect for this Architecturally challenging project, From its initial design stages and to the final finishing stage of the project. My Knowledge in vaulted roof Structures and heterodox architectural practices and my command in site was an added advantage in the construction process. I have proposed many intricate details for this project and the same is mentioned in the following pages.

BARREL VAULTS
A barrel vault, also known as a tunnel vault, wagon vault or wagonhead vault, is an architectural element formed by the extrusion of a single curve (or pair of curves, in the case of a pointed barrel vault) along a given distance. The curves are typically circular in shape, lending a semi-cylindrical appearance to the total design. The barrel vault is the simplest form of a vault: effectively a series of arches placed side by side (i.e., one after another). It is a form of barrel roof. As with all arch-based constructions, there is an outward thrust generated against the walls underneath a barrel vault. There are several mechanisms for absorbing this thrust
CATALAN VAULTS
The Catalan vault (Catalan: volta catalana), also called thin-tile vault,[1] Catalan turn, Catalan arch, boveda ceiling (Spanish bóveda ‘vault’), or timbrel vault, is a type of low brickwork arch forming a vaulted ceiling that often supports a floor above. It is constructed by laying a first layer of light bricks lengthwise “in space”, without centering or formwork, and has a much gentler curve than most other methods of construction.

Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) is an advanced and intensive form of hydroponically-based agriculture where plants grow within a controlled environment to optimize horticultural practices.
CEA techniques are not simpler than older systems for growing plants. Indeed, they demand sound knowledge of chemistry, horticulture, engineering, plant physiology, plant pathology, computers and entomology. A wide range of skills as well as a natural inclination to attend to details are necessary for a person to operate a successful CEA production in either a research or commercial setting.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES HANDELED :
I was the BIM Consultant for this project. This was a project that required Hight precision modelling as many of the equipments and sensors in the modelling was used for later automation and management. This model was further used by their BMS Systems to automate the environment for growing the crops. This was a very unique project is such manner and had 99% of the clashes and errors sorted. The models was further leveloped to LOD 400 post construction.

A Coordniated model was created and the clashes were detected with high precition and accuracy, Especially in hte basements floor. A Seperated model was created for the clash detuction of basements floor and this is the place with the most number of service routings and end point. The Clashes detected were presented on a weekly basis with the team of architects and service COORDINATED BIM MODEL

The unquenchable thirst for pollution free, cool, pleasant surroundings, free from the clutches and everyday toil, has led to the construction of a number of hill resorts.
The Impressive natural Floura and Founa in the vicinity provides a relaxing and rejuvinating environment will make it one of the most happening and sought out destinations in wayanad. The design of the space is also quite quirky and unique as mentined in the following pages.

CONCEPT AND FORM DEVELOPMENT OF THE BARN OWL
THE BARN OWL
The barn owl is a medium-sized, pale-coloured owl with long wings and a short, squarish tail. There is considerable size variation across the subspecies, with a typical specimen measuring about 33 to 39 cm (13 to 15 in) in overall length, with a wingspan of some 80 to 95 cm (31 to 37 in). Adult body mass is also variable, with male owls from the Galapagos weighing 260 g (9.2 oz), while male Pacific barn owls average 555 g (19.6 oz). In general, owls living on small islands are smaller and lighter, perhaps because they have a higher dependence on insect prey and need to be more manoeuvrable.
The shape of the tail is a means of distinguishing the barn owl from typical owls when seen in the air. Other distinguishing features are the undulating flight pattern and the dangling, feathered legs. The pale face with its heart shape and black eyes gives the flying bird a distinctive appearance, like a flat mask with oversized, oblique black eyeslits, the ridge of feathers above the bill somewhat resembling a nose.
THE WING STRUCTURE OF BARN OWL
The first inspiration to the form was the wing structure of the owl. The form of the 2 sloping roof were inspired directly from the same. The extended canopy of the same suits well for the monsoons.
