POST-OFFICE DESIGN
from Portfolio 2023
This design requires a fundamental understanding of public and private space planning and collaboration. This location was in Pune and was bordered by business and residential structures. This design requires a thorough grasp of the spaces involved in the circulation and movement of public and official personnel. The planning was done to make these places more pleasant and easier for consumers to use. The objective was to design the office building in a way that was not typical of a boring office. The public was interested in all aspects of design. One of the most essential aspects of design is the age of the consumers and their demands, which play an important role in any design project.
The fundamentals of design were emphasized, such as Overhangs, fenestrations, sun path, wind direction, and the surrounding environment were all considered as well as site massing, orientation, circulation on site, vehicle movement, and significant aspects of climatology.

Options were developed using a technique that included building orientation, understanding of the parking flow, and road movements. The basic study included a traffic assessment and the timing of vehicle flow. The street views and entry to the site were shown. In order to get a better environment within the structure throughout the day, the shadows of adjacent buildings were investigated in various conditions. The building’s massing was also done with the same awareness of the setting.
The comparison analysis was carried out in order to comprehend the other choice. The delivery van, which enters from the road and enters the structure, was given special consideration. Visitors parking was also built in such a way that it could be monitored during peak hours at the office buildings. The orientation of the building is critical for physically challenged people and must be worked out as effectively as possible.
