Who decided I was quiet? Who decided I was straight? Who decided I was best left stuffed up in a cupboard in South-West Scotland, where I could become ‘calm’ and sedate? I’m raging against the world raging against the machine it’s sexist and racist and fucked up! I’ve internalised misogyny so much it’s burning me away from the inside-out, and I’d only just come to notice. It’s all tied up with the eco-crisis – this is not ‘it’ this is war. Expand open. Only the Good allowed in. Comfortable friendship for sharing Love. Witch glow, that’s all there is – the emptiness where Joy and Power sit in stillness, quietly being, in that space you create for Them to exist.
