THINGS I WISH I KNEW BEFORE TRAVELLING TO LAGOS, NIGERIA

TRAVEL NAIROBI, KENYA

HAVE A VISA

Even though I didn't know I needed a Visa. God softened the hearts of the authorities to allow us to still be able to continue with the mission.

THE AIRPORT Traveling from airport to airport is a job within itself. Be ready to walk fast, read swiftly and most of all be patient.

CURRENCY Make sure you have cash because although they may tell you that the credit cards may work, but be prepared for them not to. Also, look out for the exchange rate.

LEARN SOMETHING NEW Travel with an open mind and be ready to learn a lot. Even if you make a mistake learn from it. You made it out of the country now learn all you can so not to make the mistake again.

Traveling to Nairobi, Kenya has been on my mind, but I never thought it would be a reality. I have know for a long time that I was called to missions and had the gift of teaching. I just never thought I would be doing what I was called to and most of loved doing it. How many times have you thought that God had called you to something, but the fear took over.

Yes, I hear your now. God had not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. But, it gets hard when you look around and the planning is there, but the execution seems to be off kiltered. I'm writing this to share that I have been called to missions and I'm taking it on and trusting God, because Nairobi, Kenya here I come and saying yes to what God has called me to do.

DEBORAH A.FRANKLIN If you know me, you know that missions have always been a passion of mine since I was in college and went on my first mission trip to Zimbabwe. This was my first time leaving the country and yes ya'll I was working in Children's Church. God, was showing my calling even when I didn't see it.

As the founder of Church Girl CEO, which was created to teach women in business how to apply biblical principles to their business, and also do mission work.

We were blessed to travel to Lagos, Nigeria last summer and this summer to Nairobi, Kenya. We will be departing in June to assist with two orphanages, minister to women in business, and participate in a crusade.

Our biggest goal is to assist the two orphanages with tuition for the children to attend school and any supplies that would be needed for day-to-day activities I need your help to reach my goal of $7000. SUPPORT THE MISSION PROJECT We have a great mission , but we need your help. I We are going to Nairobi, Kenya to partner with two orphanages that need our assistance. We will be going to assist with educational tuition, building fees and any supplies that are needed.

The orphanages are located in Nairobi and Kittal.

We will also be working with other womens group to sharre our knowledge of doing business from a biblical perspective and sharing the word at a Women's Crusade preaching and teaching.

We need your assistance to bring this to pass. Our goal is $7000 to cover expences of supplies. Any amount that you would be able to share would be much appreciated.
