DFND compression wear is engineered to help everyone who loves to train and compete go harder longer, recover quicker, and get better faster.

DFND’s specially sourced, proprietary compression gear was created to solve a problem: Too many U.S. Military members were suffering overuse and chronic injuries during training that kept them from reporting for duty, reducing our country’s military readiness and costing taxpayers millions of dollars.

Founders Jeff Herdman and Steve Burnett grew up in Southern California surrounded by Marines, soldiers, airmen, and sailors stationed at the many area military bases. When they heard about the problem in 2015, they decided to use their shared background in apparel product design and sales to help.

Their first line of compression wear was tested on special forces trainees under the harshest training conditions in the world. The apparel was so successful in reducing injuries and lost training time, that it’s still standard issue to everyone who seeks to join certain elite special-operations groups.

It wasn’t long before DFND’s reputation spread and other military units, first-responders like firefighters and policemen, and elite college and professional athletes – including those in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and MMA -- began to adopt its use.
