Welcome to our 3rd annual bull sale. This is our 23rd year of raising registered Red Angus cattle. TJS Red Angus is a family ran operation by Tim, Julie, and Cash Shick, Jim and Carlene Shick, and Steve and Tammie Haug and their boys Tanner, Taylor, and Laramie. We are very proud of our family and feel blessed to all be working together in this environment. Also in this offering we have a group of bulls from Lee Ranches in Hansen, Idaho. They have been great customers and friends over the years. Their bulls selling are very stout and a little bit older and are very complimentary to our program. They are out of the same sires we use. We know you will like them. Over the years we have always strived to raise cattle that are moderate, thick, and have good carcass traits as well as great maternal strength and good dispositions. Our cattle are run on all native range in the foot hills of the Big Horn Mountains. We think that is what you will find in this group of bulls we have to offer. This year is the first year to offer bulls from our up and coming herd sire TJS Berry Cherry 8801. They are definitely our type of bulls. Wait until you see them as a group. We can’t pick a favorite one! The bulls are ready for all environments. We feel very confident that we have a very solid, sound, and functional set of bulls ready for your inspection on April 5th. Obviously we don’t do all this alone. Seth Leachman does the sales management, all the ads, catalog, and pictures and we can’t THANK him enough for all his help and friendship. Jim Leachman took a ton of pictures this year also. We sure had a couple of fun days working with Jim and THANK him very much. We had our bulls feed this year with Travis Rule at Rule Livestock LLC in Buffalo, WY and he has done an outstanding job. His professionalism, knowledge, and attention to details have developed the bulls to be sound and functional genetic packages. We THANK him and his crew for all they have done. SALE TERMS & CONDITIONS 1.BIDDING The Auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final. 2.TERMS Terms of sale are cash unless satisfactory credit arrangements have been made with Sale Management prior to sale. 3.PURCHASER’S RISK Each animal becomes the risk of the Buyer as soon as sold, but it shall be the obligation of the Seller to see that animals are fed and cared for free of charge to Buyer, until loaded for shipment or until the expiration of 48 hours after the sale, whichever occurs sooner. 4. HEALTH All animals are eligible for interstate shipment, except as otherwise announced. Interstate health papers will be furnished for each animal requiring tuberculosis and brucellosis tests in accordance with Federal Regulations. 5.ANNOUNCEMENTS Any changes from information of any kind in this catalog will be announced from the auction box and such announcements shall take precedence. 6. DEFAULT In the event the Buyer defaults on payment, the Buyer shall be responsible for all costs, including attorney’s costs, incurred by Sale Management or Seller in connection with collecting, or attempting to collect, payment due. 7. BREEDING GUARANTEE All animals are guaranteed by the seller as outlined in the Red Angus Association of America Code of Ethical Sale Practices. 8. CONTRACT The above terms and conditions of sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller of each animal and shall be equally binding upon both. Each sale or resale of an animal constitutes a seperate transaction. 9. LIABILITIES All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. The seller, the sale manager, and the auction facility assume no liability for accidents that may occur. It is to be clearly understood that the sale manager and their representatives act only as a medium between the buyer and seller.
BUY A PAGE OF BULLS... The bulls were specifically lotted in meaningful groups of similar bulls and paternal brothers. With the exception of the bulls designated as herdbulls , we will allow the bidder to purchase these groups at the same price as the initial bull they purchase on that page. For instance, Lots 16 and 17 are on the same page. If you purchase Lot 16, you have the option on Lot 17 at the same price! 64
