rs. Mayo Iyabo Shofoluwe a mother, loving and caring wife, an accomplished businesswoman and philanthropist was born on October 1, 1960 into the family of Late Sanusi Balogun and late Alhaja Awawu Balogun of Osogbo, Oshun Sate, Nigeria.

He is married to Engineer George Olukayode Shofoluwe. His husband of more than 24 years. He is the mother of 3 children.

One beautiful daughter Folashade 23 and 2 handsome sons Ayodele 17 and Kolade (8).

Education: Primary and Secondary education in Nigeria before proceeding to the US in 1982 where she earned a BS degree in Business Management (1986) and a Masters Degree, MS ( 1988) in Mass Communication from Southern University, Baton Rouge LA. Mayo is a practicing nurse by profession having been licensed as an LVN.

ayo is a versatile businesswoman with interest in several areas of business. She is the Founder/Owner and CEO of Mayflower Health Services Inc a full service home health care and diversified health care provider. She is also the President of Mayflower Business Ventures, a general merchandising company marketing and selling fine 18K gold, premium laces, Jubille/Hayes head gears (Gele) and Italian shoes, purses and handbags exclusive ONLY to people with discriminating taste in the Houston area and around the USA. Mayo caters to both Men and Women with excellent taste for what they wear and the way they look.

Work History: In her early career, Mrs Shofoluwe was a teacher at the Xavier Catholic Private School in Baton Rouge and a Lecturer of business studies at the Camelot College, Baton Rouge. She was also a nurse at Concord Hospital, Kindred Hospital, Houston and several other health care facilities as part of her health care professional experience in the past several years.

She is especially proud of her philanthropic activities here in the USA and Nigeria where she is involved with several groups and organizations and also as an individual to help people in need and the less fortunate in the community and the society at large. Mayo is a very compassionate and positive person who loves to surround herself with people of like manners. She is fun loving and likes to live life to the fullest with her close friends and family members.

Hobbies and Interest: Praising The Lord, Dressing up pretty, exercising, reading traveling, and having fun in general.
