Devon Prep is a private, Catholic, college preparatory school, grades 6-12, focused on the holistic education of young men for life.

THE CAMPAIGN FOR DEVON PREP 2018

As the Class of 2017 was receiving their diplomas on June 9th, Devon Prep had already started a $5 Million renovation of the 1960’s Building and baseball field. Over the course of June, July and August, the project took shape and we opened the 2017-2018 school year on time, with a state-of the-art facility and exciting new learning environment.

OPENING ADDRESS TO STUDENTS | SEPTEMBER 5TH, 2017

How exciting was it to walk through the doors this morning and see your school transformed? Like many of you, I followed the progress of construction on Facebook and Twitter, but I never got a chance until just a few days ago to take a tour. Many of you that know me, know that I’m NOT easily impressed. Well, I’M IMPRESSED! New classrooms, state of the art labs, a new weight room, an oratory for contemplation and prayer, and finally after many agonizing years in hot classrooms, air conditioning!

DEVON PREP WHAT WE DID!

The entire 1960’s Building was given a facelift inside and out. The facade now has matching stonework and a mansard roof which integrates completely with Calasanctius Hall. Controlled air conditioning and heat now runs throughout the entire school, and all windows and doors are energy efficient. Also upgraded are the safety, electrical, technological and communications infrastructure.

We now have high-tech Biology, Physics and Chemistry labs, as well as a Creative Design Computer Lab to go along with an Oratory located on the main floor which gives our boys access to prayer and contemplation during the school day.

The baseball field now has a professional backstop and 90 stadium seats built into the hill surrounding the field, which creates a more pleasurable viewing experience and enhances our appeal to prospective families as they enter our campus.

Devon Prep is a one-of-a-kind experience. Our small by design classes allow our boys to become the greatest version of themselves, and as we look to the future, we have a plan to give our boys an even greater chance to lead, grow, and learn, through the values of the Piarist Order and through the eyes of God. We’re excited to present our 30-year Campus Master Plan.

We ask that each member of the Devon Prep community make a reflective and meaningful commitment to the campaign.

A variety of opportunities for gifts at every level are available. Gifts can be made in cash, or through gifts of stock, real estate or appreciated assets. Some may choose to make a one-time single gift to this effort; others have requested a payment schedule which, over time, will allow them to extend the limits of their generosity and commitment.
