Devonport food and wine festival canned
The Devonport Food and Wine Festival has been discontinued after 24 years. It was put on hold for February 2014 due to Devonport Library construction compromising the Windsor Reserve site. Now it is gone
Festival director Gavin Busch said it was not completely. Owners celebrate Bayswater home’s horror appearance
Mertens’ house of horrors… Andi and Erik Mertens entertained a group of friends at their home last Saturday and then the group went out to see the “horror house” on the big screen. Their 1920s Bayswater home was the set of Kiwi horror comedy Housebound, filmed four years ago. Producers used household items as props, including a cheese grater, clothes horse and sock drawer. Andi says she is now reluctant to use that cheese grater after she saw the damage it can do.
