Commercial interest in TGS pool The possibility of Takapuna Grammar School’s pool being used by the community, all year, is increasing with the school partnering with a commercial operator. “The private sector is interested in utilising

school-based assets,” says an Auckland Council document seen by the Flagstaff. “Takapuna Grammar is about to partner with a commercial provider to enclose their swimming pool to enable year-round use.”

Takapuna Grammar principal Mary Nixon confirmed progress on the pool. “We are currently in discussions with a company and will let you know when an agreement is signed,” she said.
