AT Local trial costing taxpayers $31 a ride The Devonport on-demand ride service AT Local is costing up to $31 a trip. Funded by the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA), the scheme has been operating for four months.

An analysis of the first four months, to the end of March, shows that on the busiest day, the subsidy per ride was $25, while on an average day it was $31 per trip. Devonport Takapuna-Local Board member
