WHO WE ARE DeVinci cast its first piece of architectural concrete in 1998 when an Oklahoma City based company called Advanced Masonry, found itself badly needing the services of a local and reliable cast stone supplier. In successfully filling that role, we gained a rare and close insight into everyday woes and challenges of construction and were able to better learn how to alleviate them by developing strong, quality products that were ever friendlier to installers and more attractive to designers. Through the years, on projects both big and small, we have continued to study our craft, experiment with methods old and new, and invest in the latest technologies. As an Architectural Precast Association (APA) certified plant, DeVinci guarantees strict quality and superior performance. We specialize in architectural precast and glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) but have the ability to also work with and sculpt natural stone. Our clients are invited to take advantage of our in-house pre-construction consulting, estimating, and budgeting services. After over 25 years, as it often goes with small businesses, our employees have become our family. Their dedication, skill, and professionalism are the most accurate metrics of our success. We are in equal ways humbled and honored by their continuing excellence.

TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY’S AMON G. CARTER STADIUM Fort Worth, TX Adding in over 100k sq feet of prime seating to Texas Christian University’s football stadium was an exercise in creativity. For DeVinci, it meant reproducing the existing structure’s multiple architectural details on a truly exquisite scale. We provided the 40’-long finned GFRC parapet panels, which now wrap the 130 field-side yards of the cantilevered roof in their enormous Art Deco embrace. The front and sides of the building feature several hundred feet of intricate frieze work, scalloped vertical paneling in two-tone GFRC, and a balconied entryway guarded by a pair of 20’-tall bas-relief sculptures of the school’s beloved football players. These two titans are in turn dwarfed by a flanking arrangement of columns reaching over 120 feet in height. All of it: lightweight and durable GFRC proudly made and engineered in Oklahoma. We are honored to have collaborated with some of the nation’s most talented builders and designers in bringing this unique project to life.

GREENWOOD RISING OKLAHOMA BLACK HISTORY MUSEUM Tulsa, OK It’s not every day that a small Oklahoma business makes history. Yet, in 2020, history is exactly what DeVinci was invited to be a part of. One has only to look at the strikingly hollowed white GFRC shell of Tulsa’s Black History Museum, juxtaposed against the stark charcoal grayness of its brick walls, to know they’re seeing more than just a pretty building. The daring design features powerful LED fixtures, installed within each panel’s frame to project light through multiple openings in the GFRC skin. At night, the whole edifice is transformed into a mesmerizing and shiningly poignant installation. In an early effort to maximize efficiency, our design and production teams collaborated with the architect on important aspects of GFRC constructability and structural assembly. Through our help in giving shape to an architectural gem that Greenwood Rising surely is, we strive to acknowledge our country’s unforgivable treatment of black communities and hope to foster humble healing in the future.

OSF MINISTRY HEADQUARTERS Peoria, IL Once known across the nation as the ‘Big White Store’, this 1904, seven-story example of the famous Chicago School style of architecture, began life as a high-end department store, but fell into disrepair as the century waned. The 2019 effort to rehabilitate this structure to its former glory found DeVinci ready to lend a hand. We provided over 520 GFRC pieces, historically replicated and glazed to match the building’s long-demolished white terracotta exterior. All were meticulously designed, molded, and crafted to the highest standards of historic restoration. We were also called upon to reimagine a missing architectural detail – a corbel of which no photographs or concept drawings could be found. This, our in-house carver chiseled in limestone. Today, the building stands tall once again, a shining and proud example of vision, modern craft, and respect for historic architecture.

UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA HOMER L. DODGE PHYSICS AND ASTRONOMY RESEARCH FACILITY Norman, OK A fruit of one of DeVinci’s many collaborations with the University of Oklahoma, the OU Physics Center showcases our ability to deliver quality wet-cast architectural stone on projects with high adaptability and design needs. From the complex geometries of the building’s multiple connection arches to the high-mullioned rows of its beautiful windows, DeVinci managed to realize the design team’s goal of creating a new building which doesn’t look out of place on Oklahoma’s biggest university’s Collegiate Gothic campus. Faithful to our tradition of mixing the old with the new, we utilized our advanced CNC machining capabilities alongside the skills of our draftsmen, carpenters, and sculptors. The results did not disappoint.

THE TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY DUSTIN R. WOMBLE BASKETBALL CENTER Lubbock, TX With its multitudes of finials, balusters, corbels, and modular pieces of ashlar, the Womble Basketball Center kept our cast stone plant busy and our drafters humming. True to Texan tradition of going big or going home, DeVinci spared no effort in giving our southern neighbor supreme quality and design. We shipped out 11-thousand-pound scrolled acroteria, 3Dmodeled concrete balconette sills, pendants, medallions, and a 33’-tall arched entryway fit for basketball giants. Our ability to shop-cast thousands of bricks into over 30 concrete arches allowed the masons to obtain a truly impressive setting rate of 1 arch-per-hour. All totaled, over nine thousand cubic feet of precast and GFRC left Oklahoma for Texas. At least they send us a postcard from time to time.

UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA GAYLORD FAMILY MEMORIAL STADIUM Norman, OK DeVinci continued its long relationship with the University of Oklahoma by supplying all the cast stone elements for this 2016 renovation. The workload began with casting a monumental oriel window bowl for the new Coach’s Office in just three, 21000-pound pieces, and transitioned into producing a staggering array of segmented gothic arches for the entryway and the 360-degree concourse. Dimensionally and pound for pound, the Sooners’ stadium certainly ranks as one of our biggest projects to date. Such format required, and successfully tested, DeVinci’s constant precision in both design and manufacture. Despite its daunting scale, our team was able to complete all the work in time to witness OU win their very first home game at the start of the 2017 college football season. We feel very fortunate to have had a part in each of the stadium’s 21st century improvements.
