Thanks to the new 3 cylinder FARMotion 35 engine, which delivers 341 Nm of maximum torque at 1500 rpm, a wide range of transmission options (including options with hydraulic reverse shuttle and 3 Powershift gears) and powerful hydraulic systems,
the new series further raises the bar for specialised tractors in this power class. The new Series 5 DF/DS/DV Ecoline is the ideal solution for vineyards and orchards as well as for the maintenance of public and private green spaces and landscaping areas and for municipal applications; in fact, it is expressly designed to guarantee extraordinary efficiency in all working conditions.

Thanks to the changes introduced for compliance with Stage V, the FARMotion 35 engines used on the Series 5 DF/DS/DV Ecoline are even more powerful and fuel efficient, and extend the scheduled maintenance interval to 600 hours.
The current edition of this engine adopts the best technological solutions available for diesel engines, guaranteeing significantly compact size and fully meeting the specific needs of agricultural work. Specifically, the reduced size guarantees that models of the Series 5 DF/DS/DV Ecoline offer excellent manoeuvrability, with an extremely limited turning radius, in order to make manoeuvring at the end of each row faster and easier.
Top notch technical features, such as Common Rail electronic control injection at up to 2,000 bars, 7-hole piezoelectric injectors, turbocharger with Intercooler, viscostatic fan, and a PowerCore air filter create a formidable “package” that optimises combustion guaranteeing improved performance with minimal fuel consumption. The FARMotion 35 has an engine speed of just 2200 rpm, achieves maximum torque at 1500 rpm and stands out for an excellent 28% reserve torque. The Series 5 DF/DS/DV Ecoline models compliance with Stage V is achieved without the use of SCR and AdBlue, using an externally cooled EGR circuit, a DOC catalytic converter and a passive DPF filter instead: a combination that does not require any additional fluids besides diesel fuel. These engines can also run on alternative fuels like HVO, enhancing environmental sustainability by reducing CO2 emissions.A new advanced preheat system ensures dependable, quick engine starts even in the coldest weather.

Extraordinary configurability with maximum efficiency.
The transmissions found on the Series 5 DF/DS/DV Ecoline guarantee very high performance combined with excellent reliability, thanks to the manufacturer’s extensive experience in the specialised tractor sector. The base version offers 5 gears for 3 ranges, integrated with a splitter that doubles the number of ratios available in the forward gear, for a total of 30+15 speeds. For those who want more, an electrohydraulic reverser is
available with Stop&Go and ComfortClutch features (to change gears by simply pressing a button on the gear lever without operating the clutch pedal), besides the 3-stage Powershift module, which raises the number of speeds available in either direction to 45. With the Powershift module for inserting the 3 gears under load, this transmission sets the standard for the category. When on the road, 5080 DF Ecoline and 5080

DS Ecoline models attain 40 km/h even with the engine operating at an reduced engine speed. At the other end of the spectrum, with the shortest gear ratio, the biggest tyres and the engine at maximum regime, the speed can be as low as 205 or 246 m/h (depending on the version).
For all versions the PTO comes with a progressively engaged electrohydraulic clutch as standard. For PTO output
shafts, options include classic fixed splined stub shafts or interchangeable shafts. As an option, a 1000 rpm PTO or a PTO synchronised with the transmission can be added, not to mention front PTO with 1000 rpm progressively engaged electrohydraulic clutch.

All the power needed, ultimate configurability.
The Series 5 DF/DS/DV Ecoline features hydraulic systems that meet even the most challenging requests made by the demanding implements used between rows; the incredibly modular system can be “tailored” to offer the best solution for every need.
The hydraulic system also comes with two hydraulic pumps as standard: the main 54 l/min pump is dedicated to the lift and distributors, while the second pump (up to 45 l/min) is exclusively for the steering wheel and accessory services, to guarantee very fluid manoeuvring even with the engine at minimum and while also using the lift and/or the hydraulic distributors.
For even greater needs, a pair of tandem pumps can be installed instead of the main pump, for a total capacity of 64 l/min. 3 double-acting rear hydraulic distributors with flow setting valve and free return line are fitted as standard, to easily and immediately power the most demanding hydraulic motors.
To meet specific requests, up to 4 ways can be duplicated in the mid-mounted position, besides free return. Great attention is also paid to the environment, with a tank for the recovery of any oil that may have escaped when connecting the hydraulic pipes.
The powerful lift attains up to 2800 kg on the 5080 DF Ecoline and 2600 kg on the other versions. It is available both with classic mechanical management and with electronic control. Along with electronic control for the lift, commands for remote control are also available on the rear mudguard. A powerful 1500 kg front lift and hydraulic stabilisers for the rear lift are available as options.
The hydraulic flow control valve is standard, and the command can be directly activated from the driving position.

Unique and innovative, for unmatched safety and productivity.
As an alternative to a conventional high load capacity swing axle, the Series 5 DF/DS/DV Ecoline is available with an optional exclusive hydropneumatic independent articulated quadrilateral adaptive front suspension system which ensures optimised damping action in relation to ground speed and steering angle. The system employs an array of specific sensors and a dedicated electronic control unit to manage the dynamic behaviour of the vehicle and ensure levels of comfort and stability, whether in the field or on the road, that operators normally only expect from a much higher power tractor. Thanks to the advanced management of the parameters monitored, by means of a pair of hydraulic cylinders and 3 nitrogen accumulators, the ideal attitude can now be maintained in all conditions. The control software includes two important supplementary features, Anti-Dive and Anti-Roll, as standard thereby increasing the active safety of the machine.
Specifically, Anti-Dive counters the tendency of the front axle to compress suddenly under braking, causing weight transfer towards the front of the machine. This reduces stopping distances significantly, especially in the case of sudden, emergency braking.
Anti-Roll, on the other hand, automatically adjusts the stiffness of the system in relation to steering angle and vehicle speed to improve stability and grip when cornering.
The system stiffens the suspension of the outer wheel, keeping the vehicle correctly balanced and drastically reducing potentially dangerous roll.
Electro-hydraulic management of the activation of front wheel drive and of the 100% locking of both differentials is standard, guaranteeing maximum traction on all terrain. As is now conventional, for safety without compromise on specialised DEUTZ-FAHR models, real true braking is also standard, thanks to the presence of brake discs on all 4 wheels.

Innovative cabs with just 4 pillars are available for all versions of the Series 5 DF/DS/DV Ecoline, for unobstructed lateral visibility that offers a new level of control over the implements working between the rows. Despite the maximum height of the tractor remaining below 2.5 metres, these cabs offer top level furnishings, with a large number of advanced ergonomic solutions, guaranteeing a high level of comfort throughout the working day. Available in various widths and with different wheel arch configurations, they are all equipped with an adjustable steering wheel and activated carbon filters, to offer the driver optimal protection against dust, pollen and fumes.
To enhance driver comfort during long working days, the cab offers an air-suspended seat and air conditioning. A wide range of rear mirror sizes ensures excellent rear visibility while preserving the tractor’s compact silhouette.
