Ameka J Burton Single mother of three beautiful children and currently resides in Greenville, South Carolina. She works in the Greenville County School system at an Alternative School for students. Her patience, persistence and innovative ideas pushed her back into a creative writing state of mind. After years of holding on to her first book, Ameka has finally decided to proceed with her writing career.

She created the Miss Kitty heroine to be an inspirational for people struggling with obstacles and hardships. A Simple Taste of Miss Kitty is her first novel and The Power of Kitty is her second novel.

The creativity in her plots and schemes of each character, makes both books a must read. Exposing Miss Kitty, the main character of the book to a world with new adventures and new people. Miss Kitty was raised in a very unhappy and immoral house hold. Rapped by her so call step dad and verbally abused by her mom. Her chances of survival towards a new life was a dream that Miss Kitty didn't think she would every encounter.

Until she goes off to college on a journey to woman hood and a better lifestyle.

Jennifer is a survivor of domestic violence and it is something that she is very passionate about. She has put in place the 40 Degrees of Kindness Campaign to help raise awareness against domestic violence by giving back to those organizations and individuals that are taking a stand to let women know they have a choice.
