Welcome to Simple Choices Ten (X). Ten years ago we started out with 12 head, ranging from Shorthorns, to ShorthornPlus cattle. These cattle started to lay the ground work for what we have to offer here today as well as the future. Today, I would like to invite you to attend out biggest offering of genetics yet in Seward on September 24th.

With this influx of cattle I can without a doubt tell you it is our top offering to date and feel that there will be more “Bang for Your Buck” than ever before.

We have strived to keep the customer first.

Traveling to many shows and fair to help our the buyers to achieve their goals.

Along with that, we still have our gates open for consignments year after year, striving to get top-dollar for the progeny stemming from Simple Choices cattle from past sales. This is something that we hope will continue to allow our sales to grow, to the highest level, in many breeds!

We have a tremendous network of people here everyday that we hope can answer any questions you have about the cattle. Don’t hesitate to contact myself or any of the staff listed in the catalog to answer any questions regarding this offering. Jeff and Darla are already fielding calls about this years offering with the buzz that has been created throughout the year. The people that have seen the cattle already have been extremely complimentary of the cattle as well as their pedigrees. I will be the first to say, they are damn good!

We have seen a ton of changes in our industry in our short 10 years as propagators of purebred livestock. However, we have had one constant, the cattle only look as good as the people working on them. We must have an All-Star crew this year! Logan Plate and Adam Graven have put their hearts into it this year and it shows! Plus the cooler temps in late July and August hasn’t hurt. The cattle have responded well and we can’t wait for you to see them.

TERMS: All cattle in this sale sell under the sale terms as written by KOLT Cattle and the ASA, AHA and AMAA. Updates will be available on sale day.

PAYMENT TERMS: Terms of the sale are cash or check made payable to Aegerter Marketing Services, Inc., immediately following the sale and before the cattle are removed from the premises. Purchasers of their representatives must sign the bill of sale prior to leaving the sale.

BILLED ACCOUNTS: All billed accounts are due and expected within 10 days of the sale date. At 10 days, a two percent service charge will be added to the unpaid balance and an additional two percent will be added every 30 days thereafter.

LIABILITY: Each animals will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold, but will be cared for by the seller of a reasonable amount of time. Neither the owner, employees, auctineer, sale manager or other affiliated personnel can be responsible for any accidents, but they will make every effort to provide for the safety and comfort of those attending.

BREEDING GUARANTEE: We guarantee all livestock sold as sound breeders. However, if we feel that a heifer has been fed to an extreme level of obesity for the show ring, we hold the feeder responsible for any reproductive problems and no longer feel responsible to guarantee that individual animal. In the rare case that this should occur, KOLT Cattle will still try and help you through two breeding seasons.

EMBRYOS: KOLT Cattle Co will guarantee one pregnancy on each package of embryos selling if implanted by a certified technician.

FLUSHES & DNA: KOLT Cattle Co. reserves one flush of eight or more grade 1 or 2 embryos at our expense on all females selling. KOLT Cattle Co. also retains at our expense the opportunity to obtain a DNA cell line for cloning purposes on all cattle selling in this sale.
