15-5 is a young sow that has not only proven her self in the show ring but has also proven her self in the the crate! She was dominant throughout her show career and ended it with a bang at the Iowa State Fair being named Third Overall Division 5 Market Gilt last year.

We have put an emphasis on not only trying to make high quality show gilts but also making females that can do their job in the crate. When she had her first litter this summer she did just that, laid down and had 10 pigs unassisted. All of her males were sold to the south and the gilts were all retained besides one. The one gilt we offered to the public at the HOLY SMOKE Sale sold for $10,500!

To top all of this off she is bred to For the Glory and due at what we feel is an absolutely perfect time!

CHAMPION PUREBRED MARKET HOG & CHAMPION DUROC, ‘24 IA STATE FAIR 4-H FULL SIB TO LOT 2.

NORTH CENTRAL IOWA SHOWDOWN CHAMPION BREEDING GILT, ’24 ALBERTA, SELLING AS LOT 2.

This third parody Duroc sow is indeed a standout among our sale highlights. Her impressive achievements include winning the Grand Overall Breeding Gilt at Emmett County and going on to win the North Central Iowa Showdown under Ella Reglstad. Adding to her pedigree, her littermate brother was named Grand Overall Purebred last year at the Iowa State Fair 4-H Show.

The sow’s lineage boasts a strong heritage; her grandmother earned the title of Reserve Duroc at the Iowa State Fair FFA Show, while a littermate of her grandmother was awarded Grand Overall Purebred Female!

With the sow bred to All The Way, we are excited about the potential this end of November litter holds. The combination of her proven lineage and outstanding performance positions this sow as a promising asset in any breeding program.

Lot 3 is one that has made a name for herself around here very quickly! She was shown by the Janssen family and had a very successful show career. She is one that is easy to gravitate to; her extra look and presence while still being dense in her hair and skeleton. This particular sow is owned with Carter Loyd. He has worked for us the last two years and has gone off to college so he has decided to part ways with her. She has absolutely hit a home run for us in her first two litters! Her first litter she raised the Reserve Champion Division V Breeding Gilt at the 2025 Exposition for the Bunt Family! In her most recent litter she raised the Reserve Champion Light Cross Gilt at the Illinois State Fair for the Hickman Family!

The way we mated this sow is very intriguing as it is almost identical to the same mating as our Champion Light Cross Gilt at the Exposition this year. This litter could make a guy look very smart this Spring!

Two extremely high quality Berkshire littermate gilts here in Lot 4. These girls are stamped like all the Cricket offspring. They are built right from the ground up, square on both ends, length of hip in check, with that elite look and design. And don’t forget to add the maternal traits that Cricket passes on, it makes life easier in the farrowing house.

Ride Time, purchased by RAR Genetics this Spring, is a mate to these females. Pick the farrowing date that suits your schedule best and let one of these gilts lay down and do her job!

2-11 may have some age on her but she still does a great job in the crate and her pigs perform at a high level. In her 2024 summer litter she raised two sale makers at Houston and we retained every female out of that litter. She was shown by the Hoopes family here in Iowa where she won our county fair and went on to win her class at the Iowa State Fair!

She is bred to Relentless which is the Denhart boar at PBG. We feel this was the best mating with her build and look along with his moderation and mass; the outcome could be incredible. All Rise sows are still sending pigs to the backdrop! Don’t miss out on this one

We purchased 31-5’s mother out of Heimer’s “Build the Brand” Sale last summer after she had a successful run in Oklahoma and won her class at OYE. We’ve had great luck with Urban Legend females being competitive in the ring and then lay down and do what they are supposed to in the crate.

Study this gilt’s pedigree, then add what she is bred to, this litter she is carrying is exciting.

1-1 presents an impressive pedigree rooted in the reputable "Cricket" sow line. Notably, her dam is a littermate to the Champion Berkshire Barrow at the National Western Stock Show and the Reserve Champion Gilt at the Fort Worth Stock Show. Additionally, 1-1 is littermates with the unique Zamastil gilt, the White barrow, and the Jansen barrow, all of which had a great run in the Iowa Jackpot Series this past Summer.

With her being bred to Off The Chain, we anticipate that her January 1st litter will yield remarkable results, making her a promising prospect for the PowHER sale.

6-4 is another standout gilt from our ultra-consistent Never Before sow line. She was raised in a power-packed litter that produced a Class Winner at the 2025 Iowa State Fair this Summer. 6-4 is also a maternal sister to both the Grand Champion Overall Market Hog at the 2024 South Dakota State Fair and “Backpoints,” now standing at Drake Hook’s.

Bred to Lost World, this female carries the kind of genetic punch that fuels banners and big-ring success. Expect serious excitement in her first parity and well beyond. Her future progeny should write their own headlines.

Here is a great opportunity to put a top-quality bred gilt and a direct daughter of Cricket into your program. Cricket is the sow that has significantly contributed to our Berkshire program’s success. She is not only a cornerstone of our breeding efforts but is also responsible for producing many champions, including Grand Champion Berk Barrow at the National Western Stock Show, Fifth Overall Champion Purebred and Champion Berk Barrow at The Exposition, Grand Overall Market Hog at the North Dakota State Fair and numerios Top 5 Purebred Females at the Iowa State Fair.

This gilt exemplifies the exceptional traits inherited from her extraordinary lineage. She is built right from the ground up, showcasing a long, level hip structure that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Her ultra-elevated and extended build out of her blade sets her apart, making her a standout in any herd.

In addition to her impressive physical attributes, she is bred to Off The Chain, an exciting mating that promises to enhance and continue the legacy of excellence. This gilt is not just an addition to your breeding program; she represents a unique opportunity to bring the winning qualities of Cricket into your herd.

The last couple years in the PowHER Sale, we have included open gilts that we think can go on to generate for the buyers. This entry is as strong as any that we have offered and the potential in this one is high! 15-1 was exhibited by Piper Zamastil at the Iowa State Fair 4-H show, and won her class in the Lightweight Division. Big limbs, square off both ends, sharp looking and trendy in her cosmetics, 15-1 will be an exciting addition to any program.

Don't miss the opportunity to own this exceptional female!
