ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

:

1. Being handmade, slight imperfections in Lucere are deemed acceptable. These slight imperfections may include small bubbles in the interlayer or slight surface texture imperfections. Any imperfection that is not visible 36” away from the panel is deemed within commercial tolerance.

2. Lucere sheets may not be perfectly flat. Due to this, it is always suggested that the sheet be fully framed or mechanically fixed.

3. Variations in color and density may occur between samples and the order. If this detail is critical, a sample of current stock should be produced for final approval which will add up to 3 weeks to the ordering process.

4. Lucere can be used as a splashback but NOT behind a stove or cooktop.

We recommend a minimum distance of 12” from the stove or cooktop.

EXPANSION AND CONTRACTION CONSIDERATIONS:

Similar to other resin-based materials, Lucere Designer Panels undergo minor expansion and contraction with temperature changes. For installations within frames or fitted spaces, use the following calculation to determine the necessary allowances:

Formula:

Longest panel length (in inches) x temperature change (°F) x 0.00004 = Linear Expansion/Contraction (inches)

Example:

For a 48” x 120” panel exposed to a 25°F temperature fluctuation, the adjustment needed would be:

• 120 inches x 25°F x 0.00004 = 0.12 inches (roughly an ⅛” gap)

If installation occurs before HVAC systems are running, installers should take extra precautions. Consider allowances for:

• Hole sizes for standoffs and hardware,

• Frame channel depths,

• Fastener placement,

• Seam allowances where sheets meet.
