Type II: This type of building has steel or concrete walls, floors, and structural framework similar to type I construction; however, the roof covering material is combustible +1 floor plan
green building strategies The curtain wall glazing achieves high-performance through use of Low-E, tinted and fritted glazing units that are filled with argon. Deep canopies ensure key areas are shaded from summer sun. Deep vertical fins on east and west facade to reduce heat gain.
In addition to the use of a green roof, the deisgn minimizes paved surfaces, and uses soft landscape for reducing heat gain and supporting water drainage. Natural ventilation is provided through the large central atrium.
