THE UNORDINARY A LIBRARY RE-IMAGINED

This project proposes a library as a hub for inspiration, curiosity, and growth. Through the contrast of old and new, traditional and unconventional, the design is shaped by acts of carving, pushing, and pulling—mirroring how students on a design campus are challenged to move beyond comfort and limitation. The concept is expressed through landscape-like forms, drawing inspiration from the organic qualities of the natural world.. Straight paths are intentionally minimized to reflect the non-linear nature of creative and human journeys. The space is designed as an individual experience, unfolding differently for each user. More than a place to study, this library serves as a public expression of the evolving creativity and potential cultivated within the design campus—an environment meant to support, challenge, inspire, and stand apart from the ordinary.
