The City of St. Louis Park and St. Louis Park Public Schools produce an annual joint calendar which is mailed to all St. Louis Park residents in July. The 13-month calendar lists key dates, building closings, holidays and special events. The 2019-20 city-school calendar theme is “My favorite place in St. Louis Park…” The community held an online contest to obtain photos around that theme. More than 55 entries were received from individuals who live, work or go to school in St. Louis Park. The entry that received the most online votes was designated the “People’s Choice” winner! The winner’s photo is featured on the cover of the calendar and in December 2019. They also received a St. Louis Park prize package which included: a weekend stay at the Marriott Minneapolis West, a $150 Nordic Ware gift card, a $100 Loop gift card and a $50 Nutrishop gift card. The People’s Choice winner was Joe Stevens, who’s photo showcased skaters on Oak Hill Park’s outdoor skating rink. Congratulations! Thank you 2019-20 calendar contest prize donors!
