This project was to demolish an existing home and build a new one on its property which is 50’x192’. The client wanted a home with a large kitchen, a lot of bedrooms and guest bedrooms, and plenty of open space. I worked to design a layout that would include what the client desired and have a homey feeling too.

DERSHOWITZ & RUBIN P.C. & RUBIN PC The careful consideration of the spatial and stylistic concerns of Dershowitz &Rubin & P.C. led to the design of a compact and comprehensive office plan ideally l located in a modern high‐rise in the middle of Atlanta, GA. The main objective was di d hi h i i h iddl f A l GA Th i bj i to establish a signature quality space and design impact that would match the upper class clientele of the upbeat business district. By combining a new modern look and some sustainable ideas, with traditional décor and high end technology, the design forges a new updated identity for the top ranking firm, while retaining y the firm’s essence and character within the law community.

SECRETARY’S OFFICE app. 120 sq. ft. and should be close to principal’s office. Should include two chairs and a desk with drawers for supplies (pens, stapler, staple remover, message pad, calendar) and place for files needed that day and files needed that week.

PROGRAM CONT. The secretary does all scheduling and filing for the lawyers and a lot of the behind the scenes work. She needs a computer, printer, copy machine, telephone and a comfortable work area work area.

LARGE OFFICE FOR 4‐5 INTERNS OR ASSISTANTS app. 300 sq. ft. with separate work stations including a chair and a desk with drawers and shelves for files, a computer, printer stations including a chair and a desk with drawers and shelves for files, a computer, printer and a telephone. It would also be helpful to have a copy machine in the area.

Should have custom built shelves for books and a comfortable seating area. g TWO SMALL MEETING ROOMS app. 180 sq. ft. with a table and six chairs in each. Should have audio visual and teleconferencing capabilities.

KITCHEN AND BREAK ROOM app. 300 sq. ft. To be used for storing food, warming food and eating there. Should have a fridge, two microwaves, two sinks, two tables for four and a small table for two.
