From the very beginning of The Farmer’s Daughter, this store has been so much more than a place to shop. It has been a gathering place, a space filled with laughter, conversations, shared stories, and real friendships. And that is because of you.

To my local customers who stopped in regularly, who checked on new arrivals, who brought friends, daughters, sisters, husbands, wives and neighbors — thank you. You didn’t just support a small business. You supported a dream.

Opening Night with Orion Weiss

Orion Weiss and Festival Musicians Play Tchaikovsky and Dohnányi

The Festival’s 42nd season opens with an evening of Beethoven.

Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 is actually the second one he composed – scholars speculate that he chose to publish it first in order to knock the socks off his Viennese audience. He almost certainly accomplished that: in 1798, this would have been the biggest concerto ever performed in terms of orchestra size, and the piano cadenza in the first movement alone is incredible. Orion Weiss brings this brilliant, virtuosic, and playful piece to life with the Festival Chamber Orchestra.

A miniature masterpiece by Gioacchino Rossini (of Barber of Seville fame) opens the program–the festive overture to his opera The Silken Staircase.

TUESDAY, JULY 28

Childress Conducts Beethoven and Britten As one might expect, Beethoven’s first symphony follows many of the traditions and “rules” inherited from Haydn and Mozart—the symphonic masters of the day. Even so, Beethoven’s unique voice and defiance of the expectations of his time shine through in many ways—starting with the opening chord (which dodged the symphony’s C Major key that audiences would have expected) and continuing through an unusually slow introduction to the finale. Stephanie Childress begins the program with Britten’s Simple Symphony, an energetic and cheerful work whose movements include titles such as “Playful Pizzicato” and “Frolicsome Finale.”

Pianist Orion Weiss opens this chamber concert with Tchaikovsky’s brilliant, technically demanding, yet often overlooked Theme and Variations. Inspired by French tunes, it showcases Tchaikovsky’s skill in taking a charming, graceful theme and creating eleven inventive variations ranging from melancholic to playful, while ending in a powerful finale. Following, Weiss joins Festival musicians for Hungarian composer Ernö Dohnányi’s first Piano Quintet, a work that received perhaps the highest phrase Brahms ever offered to another composer: “I could not have written it better myself.”

Brahms even played the piano part in the piece’s first performance.

FRIDAY, JULY 31

Strauss and Mozart Richard Strauss’s Metamorphosen is a profoundly mournful and beautiful work; written for 23 strings in the final days of World War II, it is the composer’s lament for the destruction of, in his words, “Germany’s 2,000 years of cultural evolution.” Its concluding theme is a musical homage to the funeral march from Beethoven’s “Eroica” symphony. Mozart’s Symphony No. 39 is the first of his final three great symphonies, one for which “refined elegance” might be an apt descriptor. It’s a rare treat for clarinet lovers: with oboes absent from Mozart’s score, the clarinets take on an unusually prominent role.

MONDAY, AUGUST 3

Stravinsky’s Firebird and Anna Clyne’s Woman of the Mountain Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, written to accompany Diaghilev’s ballet, showcases the composer’s extraordinary orchestral imagination alongside Russian folk influences. By turns shimmering and eerie, the music unfolds with rich color and atmosphere, building with a slow-burning intensity toward one of classical music’s most thrilling finales.

Regarding Anna Clyne’s new orchestral work—co-commissioned by the Music Festival—the composer writes: “Woman of the Mountain evokes the journey of an extraordinary woman navigating the forces of the natural world in a quest for love, as she ascends to a mountain’s summit.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 4

Childress Conducts Elgar Stephanie Childress returns to the podium to lead a concert featuring Elgar’s Enigma Variations. His bestknown work, it starts off with a pensive four-note melody which Elgar then weaves into 14 variations. In each variation, he imagines how one of 13 of his friends might turn the theme into a different melody inspired in some way by their personality. The first variation is based on his wife, Alice, and the 14th and final variation is Elgar’s own. It’s an orchestral masterpiece.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 6

2026 Gala Concert: An Evening With Sutton Foster The Sun Valley Music Festival is excited to present Tony Awardwinning Broadway star Sutton Foster at its 2026 Gala Concert. The Festival’s only fundraising concert will offer an evening of unforgettable music on August 6 (not August 4, as previously announced).

SUNDAY, AUGUST 9

Brahms’s A German Requiem For all its title suggests, A German Requiem is more balm than dirge, a work offering comfort and faith in the power of love.

Instead of the traditional Latin, Brahms selected texts from the German Lutheran Bible (hence the title) that emphasize hope and healing, and he didn’t tie the piece to any particular nationality or religion. Doing the vocal honors are the American Festival Chorus, soprano Christina Pier, and baritone Benjamin Appl.

MONDAY, AUGUST 10

Christina Pier and Benjamin Appl Sing Lieder The soloists from Brahms’s German Requiem offer a recital of lieder (German songs) supported by the Festival’s Principal Keyboard Peter Henderson. Christina Pier’s selections include works by Franz Schubert and Clara Schumann. Benjamin Appl will sing Schumann’s Dichterliebe (A Poet’s Love), a cycle of 16 short—sometimes only three lines—songs based on poems about love. It starts out happily enough, with visions of flowers and birds, but ends with the poet contemplating drowning his sorrows, his love, and his dreams in a coffin in the sea.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 13

Alexander Malofeev Plays Prokofiev Prokofiev’s third piano concerto is the most performed of the five he wrote, and you’ll quickly understand why.

He somehow manages to blend insanely quick and percussive piano-playing with lyrical melodies and exquisite harmonies. Pianist Alexander Malofeev, who won the International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition at age 12, is the perfect soloist to bring this sparkling piece to life. The program opens with selections from Prokofiev’s beloved Romeo and Juliet.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 14

Tan Dun’s Water Concerto One of the world’s leading composers, Tan Dun wrote that his Water Concerto was inspired by his childhood life along a river: “I transpose memories of beautiful laundry sounds, swimming sounds, water dancing sounds, and water popping sounds.” The Festival’s Principal Percussion Mark Damoulakis will bring water itself into the music using a variety of vessels. You might want to sit a few rows back. Next, Associate Conductor Euan Shields makes his Music Festival debut conducting Ravel’s Rapsodie espagnole, a piece inspired by the composer’s Basque heritage that evokes Spain’s sights, sounds, and passions.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 16

Pops Night: The American Songbook Conductor, arranger, and composer Jeff Tyzik invites you to Come Swing With Me! Step back in time to the heyday of the 1950’s Las Vegas strip when the biggest names in show business ruled the room and a well-poured martini was always within reach. Tyzik will bring his own orchestral arrangements of some of the great standards, and the soulful crooner Paul Loren will take you on a musical journey highlighting iconic voices of the era, from Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin to Duke Ellington and Bobby Darin.

MONDAY, AUGUST 17

Gil Shaham plays Barber Samuel Barber was a serious composer and a gifted orchestral craftsman perhaps best known for his cinematic Adagio for Strings. Equally lush and compelling, his violin concerto gained popularity for its lyrical and songful first two movements and completely virtuosic third. The great violinist Gil Shaham returns to Sun Valley to share this marvelous work with us. To open the concert, Euan Shields conducts several excerpts from Thomas Adès’s Inferno, whose passages vividly depict episodes in Dante’s journey through Hell.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 18

Gil Shaham and Festival Musicians Play Beethoven and Ravel Beethoven wrote a string quintet?? Though it was published after his death, scholars believe the great composer re-arranged his famous “Kreutzer” violin sonata into a quintet featuring two cellos. Full of fiery passion, it features demanding solo parts for each instrument. The program opens with Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro for Harp, Flute, Clarinet, and String Quartet, a piece commissioned by a harp company to show off its instruments. Yet while the harp shines brightly, this is ultimately a shared tapestry that showcases Ravel’s masterful orchestration.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 20

Season Finale: Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 “Titan” The Festival’s Summer Season concludes with Mahler’s first symphony, whose monumental score demanded the largest orchestra ever assembled at the time. An epic narrative of struggle and triumph, it opens with the sounds of nature awakening, moves through dances, folk tunes, and a funeral march that twists “Frère Jacques” into something of a parody, and in the final movement pulls the audience into a heroic journey from despair to a glorious triumph. Watch out for some of Mahler’s tricks along the way–just when you think you might have arrived in heaven, things crash down only to begin the journey all over again!

All concerts are free, except for the Gala Fundraising Concert. Performances begin at 6:30 PM and take place at the Sun Valley Pavilion.

The SVSEF Baldy Hill Climb (BHC) is an annual Sun Valley tradition bringing together hundreds of participants to hike or race to the top of Warm Springs in a 3,140 ft vertical climb in 1.86 miles. Always the last Saturday of September, the event helps raise funds in support of the SVSEF Cross Country Teams. The BHC includes the KinderClimb for kids 11 and younger competing on a 300 vertical feet course, and both a Hiking Class and Racing Class to the top of Baldy with a free ride down on the Challenger lift!

or 25 years, St. Luke’s Wood River Medical Center has delivered something rare: advanced, high quality health care in the heart of a rural mountain community. Opened in 2000 through the vision and generosity of local residents, St. Luke’s Wood River (SLWR) was built on a shared belief—that people in the Wood River Valley deserve exceptional care, close to home. A quarter century later, that commitment continues to guide everything the hospital does.

As the only hospital within 75 miles of Ketchum, Sun Valley, Hailey, and Bellevue, St. Luke’s Wood River serves both year-round residents and the many visitors drawn here for skiing, hiking, biking, and outdoor adventure.

Whether someone is welcoming a baby, managing a chronic condition, recovering from surgery, or facing an unexpected emergency, SLWR provides care grounded in compassion, clinical expertise, and strong community connection.

A BROAD RANGE OF SERVICES Patients have access to a broad range of services designed to meet the needs of a rural, active population.

Primary care providers are located in both Ketchum and Hailey. Specialty services include orthopedics, cardiology, dermatology, OB/GYN, pediatrics, general surgery, neurology, rehabilitation, wound care and more, with visiting specialists in areas such as oncology and gastroenterology.

Recognizing mental health needs in our community, St. Luke’s Wood River offers comprehensive behavioral health services for adults, children, and adolescents. The emergency department is staffed 24/7 by board certified emergency physicians, and diagnostic services include CT, MRI, full laboratory testing, and advanced breast imaging at the Women’s Imaging Center.

Over the years, the care available at St. Luke’s Wood River has continued to evolve—shaped by community need, health system commitment, and local generosity. With support from the St. Luke’s Wood River Foundation, the hospital has recently added clinically meaningful advancements, including robotic assisted surgery, automated breast ultrasound (ABUS) to enhance breast cancer screening, and a new CT scanner completed through a shared investment with St. Luke’s Health System. Together, these tools help ensure patients receive timely diagnosis,

thoughtful treatment, and advanced care without leaving the Valley.

Access and convenience are also central to how care is delivered.

Patients can use on-demand virtual care, available seven days a week for many non emergency needs. St. Luke’s also offers prescription home delivery, making it easier for patients to receive medications safely and reliably— especially helpful for those managing ongoing conditions, seasonal residents, or anyone balancing busy schedules.

AIR ST. LUKE’S In a community defined by outdoor recreation, rapid emergency response can be lifesaving. With Air St. Luke’s base at St. Luke’s Wood River, critically ill or injured patients can be transported quickly to higher levels of care when needed. Bikes from the Future

W

hile the first bicycles were invented in the early 1800’s, they were far from the bicycles we know today. These early versions were more like wooden scooters with no pedals. It wasn’t until the 1860’s that pedals were added to the design, which made them much more efficient.

1885 saw developments such as the pneumatic tire, and the safety bicycle, which featured equal-sized wheels and a chain driven gear system. This type of bicycle quickly became very popular because it was much easier to ride than the earlier models. In 1896, the first Tour de France was held, and it’s been held every year since then. Fast

forward to 2026. Today, there are many different types of bicycles available on the market. You can choose from road bikes, gravel bikes, mountain bikes, folding bikes, and of course, electric bikes, which is what we’ll focus on in this article.

While ebikes have now been around for a while, we’ve seen exponential growth in the U. S. market in the past few years. Ebike sales saw a145% increase in 2021 alone, with 30-50% of U.S. bicycle dealers revenues coming from ebikes. In the Netherlands, where cycling is king, 70% of new bicycle sales are now electric. Why are e-bikes outpacing traditional bike sales?

PEOPLE FOR BIKES GIVES US THESE 3 FACTORS: 1. UTILITY AND ACCESS: E-bikes make cycling more appealing by reducing the impact of hills and headwinds.

2. COMMUTING SHIFT: They are increasingly used as a direct replacement for cars and public transit, particularly in cities, (or mountain towns with multiple summers of road construction).

3. HIGHER ADOPTION RATES: In regions like Europe, e-bikes are projected to outsell all cars soon.

This rider has another reason not men-

tioned above. The quality, features, and performance of today’s e-bikes are simply amazing. And there’s a bike model built to suit anyone’s needs or desires.

In our shop we use the following classifications to distinguish the models: E-COMFORT CRUISER: A comfortable upright seated position – these bikes are for around town fun, a run to the grocery store or pub, with lifestyle features and accessories.

E-COMMUTER: Slightly more aggressive and forward riding position for speed and efficiency. These will often come with accessories like racks, lights, and fenders installed and ready for the commute.

E-EXPLORE: These models will also have a slightly more aggressive riding position and can handle pavement and bike paths, as-well-as gravel roads and easier trails.

E-UTILITY: These models are meant to Haul passengers and/or Cargo, but will also work well as commuters.

E-MOUNTAIN: Like our analog mountain bikes, there are hardtail and full suspension models with various levels of travel for Trail, Enduro, and Downhill. For our local terrain, the Trail models with mid-level suspension travel are our most popular.

E-ROAD: Drop bar road, and both flat and drop bar gravel models.

These are meant for efficient, (and

fun), travel on roads and gravel roads. Some road models are Class 3 pedal assist for maximal speed with assistance to 28 mph.

TECHNOLOGY: The bikes of the future are here!! Today’s ebikes are far more advanced than even a few years ago, and we’ve seen overall weights drop by around 20%. Motors and batteries are where we’ve seen the greatest size and weight reductions, as well as performance improvements. This has allowed the manufacturers to refine the aesthetics and produce bikes with a much cleaner, more advanced appearance, it’s now not so easy to tell an e-bike from an analog bike. The categories above are just a starting point.

Once you’ve determined the style of bike you’re interested in, the next step is determining the specific build. Each bike model will generally be available in 3-4 different builds. By “builds’ we mean the components on the bike will be of different levels. Let’s look at the Specialized Turbo Levo 4 mountain bike as an example. The premium level of a Levo 4, The S-Works Levo LTD, will come with SRAM Eagle AXS XX electronic shifting, Trickstuff Maxima 4 piston hydraulic brakes, Fox Float X Genie shock, and a Fox Transfer electronic dropper seat post, the best componentry available on the market. This model will sell for $15,400. The entry level for a Levo 4 will be an Alloy vs.

Carbon frame and a SRAM Eagle 90 mechanical drivetrain. This model will sell for $6,700, and there are a couple more build options and price steps in

THE RIDE We’ve discussed how much technology has advanced e-bikes in such a short period of time, but what effect has all of this had on riding. Whether it’s a commuter or a full suspensions mountain bike, today’s e-bikes are much more advanced and refined than even 10 years ago. Motors and batteries have become smaller, lighter, and more efficient providing up to 110nm. of torque with possible ranges of up to 5 hours. The advanced sensors in these new motors infinitely measure the rider’s input and apply just the right amount of “Supernatural” power to produce an extraordinarily seamless ride, smooth, quiet, and controlled, “it’s you only faster!”

Adrift in the Himalayas:

Bhutan’s First Flyfishing Lodge Opens to the World

he Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan is known by many as the happiest country in the world. In fact, Bhutan’s primary socio-economic indicator is Gross National Happiness (GNH), a statistic coined and implemented by Bhutan’s fourth king, Jigme Singye Wangchuk. Though small in geographic size, measuring only 200 miles east to west and 90 miles north to south, the kingdom happily offers immense outdoor recreation opportunities.

Activities include kayaking, rafting, trekking, birdwatching, wildlife viewing, mountain biking and, for the first time in history, flyfishing.

Technically, flyfishing for introduced brown trout and native snow trout has been allowed since 1974 but the recent approval of a national recreational angling program for Golden and Chocolate Mahseer, two of the rarest and most desirable species for international anglers, was only opened in 2023.

And for the first time in the kingdom’s history, an eco-lodge

designed specifically for anglers, Manas River Lodge, has opened its doors to the international angling market.

MANAS RIVER LODGE Manas River Lodge is located on the banks of the Mangde Chhu river, one of Bhutan’s mahseer strongholds, and rests within the borders of Royal Manas National Park, a true gem of the kingdom’s National Park system. Surrounded by natural wonders including rivers, streams, waterfalls and mountainous jungles that hold elephants, tigers, leopards, rhinoceros, wild buffalo, multiple primate species and nearly 800 bird species, Manas River Lodge is a high-end haven situated in one of the most biodiverse locales on the planet.

Though remote, Bhutan is remarkably easy to get to.

SPECTACULAR SOUTHERN BHUTAN Although non-angling guests are welcome and encouraged to join, Manas River Lodge was created in an effort to introduce anglers to the unique and previously unfished waters of spectacular southern Bhutan. Over the course of the week-long stay, guests will primarily fish from NRS rafts equipped with fishing frames, casting platforms, lean bars and comfortable seats intended to reproduce a western-style angling experience. Golden Mahseer (Tor putitora) and Chocolate Mahseer (Neolissochilus hexagonolepis) are two target species which are endemic to the Himalayan Range and have only recently garnered the attention of most international anglers. hile the Sun Valley community is renowned as a worldfamous ski resort area, long before it became a resort in 1936 the community had deep roots in both mining and agriculture, specifically sheep. Sheep have been trailing through the Wood River Valley of Idaho for well over a century-and-a-half and are an integral part of Idaho’s western heritage. And for the past three decades, Idaho’s iconic Trailing of the Sheep Festival has celebrated the sheep, herders, history, and food of this unique tradition.

The Festival, recognized as one of the “Top Ten Fall Festivals in the World “by msn.com, will celebrate its 30th anniversary October 7-11, 2026, with five days of unique events held throughout the Sun Valley area of Idaho.

Each fall, the Trailing of the Sheep Festival honors the 150+ year annual tradition of moving sheep (‘trailing’) from high mountain summer pastures down through the Valley to traditional winter grazing and lambing areas in the south. This annual migration is living history and the focus of a unique and authentic Festival that celebrates the people, arts, cultures,

and traditions of Idaho’s sheep ranching families, highlighting the principal contributors – the Basques, Scottish, and Peruvians.

The Festival has significantly expanded from its humble beginnings 30 years ago, when it was created by local sheep ranchers John and Diane Peavey, along with the Sun Valley/ Ketchum Chamber & Visitors Bureau, to showcase this unique annual tradition through an event that would attract visitors in the fall. But the goals and objectives of the Festival remain the same – preserving the stories and history of sheep ranchers and herders, celebrating the rich cultures of the past and present, and entertaining and educating children and adults about the production of local food and fiber that have sustained local economies for generations.

The five-day Trailing of the Sheep Festival includes nonstop activities in multiple venues – history, folk arts, an authentic Sheep Folklife Fair, lamb culinary offerings, Wool Fest classes, music, storytelling, National Qualifying Sheepdog Trials and, the always entertaining, Big Sheep Parade with over 1,200 sheep hoofing it down Main Street in Ketchum.

From the South to the Sawtooths R HARPER & CURT

C

urt and I both grew up in south Alabama, in towns only thirty minutes apart, yet somehow our paths never crossed until one summer afternoon along the Gulf Coast. We met at Pirates Cove, a laid-back waterfront spot famous for bushwhackers, cheeseburgers, and salty sailors stopping in — not exactly glamorous, but the perfect beginning to our story.

Nearly seven years later, Curt proposed after an early morning bow hunt at our family camp. I never imagined I would get engaged wearing full camouflage while he dropped to one knee, but somehow it made the moment even more special.

When we began planning our wedding, we considered everywhere from the Bahamas to North Carolina to our family farm back home. Still, nothing seemed to fit the vision we shared.

Then I remembered a small mountain town I had passed through years earlier on a road trip out West with my granddad. Sun Valley stayed with me all those years — understated luxury surrounded by breathtaking scenery, warm people, and an effortless western charm that instantly made you feel at home.

Once I connected with Tiffany at Alpen Joy Events, everything began falling into place. Sun Valley was exactly what we had been searching for: refined yet rugged, elegant yet welcoming.

By August, seventy of our closest friends and family made the journey from Alabama to Idaho, most visiting the West

for the very first time. The entire weekend felt magical. The Burdge barn was the perfect venue. However, the word barn doesn’t really do it justice. The barn felt like something pulled from the landscape itself — intentionally designed to honor the rugged beauty surrounding it.

Standing together beneath the Sawtooths, surrounded by all of our favorite people, it felt surreal to look around and realize everyone had traveled all that way to celebrate with us. Between the mountain views, the cool Idaho air, and the nonstop laughter all weekend long, we truly could not have imagined a better place to start our marriage.

It was the weekend of our dreams, and we already know Sun Valley will always hold a special place in our hearts. S

racie and Cole met in Santa Barbara, California where their story began along the coast. Not long after, Gracie brought Cole to the place that had always meant the most to her—Sun Valley. Growing up there, she had often imagined getting married in the mountains, surrounded by the landscape and the people that shaped so much of her life.

What started as something personal to her quickly became something they both shared.

Cole naturally fell in love with Idaho—the mountains, the quiet, the feeling of being somewhere that makes everything else slow down. It became a place that felt incredibly special to both of them, and the perfect setting to begin their next chapter.

On August 22nd, beneath a clear summer sky, they were married at River Run Lodge.

Before the ceremony, they took a moment just for themselves, riding the gondola up to Roundhouse. Standing together above the valley, overlooking the Pioneer Mountains, it was a quiet pause in the middle of a day that would move so quickly—a chance to soak it all in before everything began.

The ceremony took place on the grass, looking up at Bald Mountain. It was moving and emotional, sprinkled with moments of laughter, and surrounded by the people who know and love them best. As the evening unfolded, moving toasts brought both laughter and tears, followed by their first dances and a packed dance floor that carried the celebration late into the night.

From quiet, meaningful moments to an epic dance party, it was everything they had imagined—and more. A day that felt both deeply personal and joyfully shared, rooted in what shaped them, celebrated with the people they love most, and the beginning of everything ahead. S

BIKE PATH The Wood River Trails Bike Path starts in Bellevue and ends just north of Ketchum. This smooth, paved path has scenery all the way and is open to foot traffic, bikes, dogs and skates. In the winter season it is groomed for cross-country skiing. Sorry, no motorized vehicles. Take this trail and leave the car behind!

allow has been used for skin nourishment and protection for thousands of years. From the Egyptians and Mesopotamians, who used tallowbased ointments to combat harsh desert climates, to healing balms of ancient Sumeria and Babylonia, this ingredient has a 5,000-year history of treating burns and inflammation.

Much like the food we eat, what we apply to our skin is processed by the liver. When the liver is occupied with these external substances, it has less time to perform the other vital functions necessary to support a vibrant life.

Even our pioneering ancestors relied on tallow for homemade soaps and balms. It was affordable, shelf-stable, and effective, with floral and essential oil recipes passed down through generations until the mid-1900s.

SO WHAT CHANGED? The shift away from these natural remedies began after World War II with the rise of newly discovered synthetic products. The late 1940s and 50s saw a demonization of animal products, largely influenced by Ancel Keys and the sugar industry and the “diet-heart hypothesis,” which incorrectly linked saturated fats to heart disease. By 1980, government guidelines promoted low-fat, high-carb (sugar) diets, further cementing this change. The skincare industry copied this shift to synthetics.

It is very important to be mindful of what our liver processes. When toxins are consumed or absorbed through the skin, the liver must store them within the body. Specifically, it creates fat to “hide” these toxins and prevent them from crossing the blood-brain barrier. The liver can easily convert sugar to fats for this purpose.

Public perception shifted toward cheap vegetable oils, (sadly not heart healthy olive oil) and trans fats, which contributed to a decline in our overall health. During this transition, traditional tallow-based skincare was largely replaced by plant oils and petroleum-based alternatives.

Most of today’s skin care products have ingredients such as Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT) and parabens (methyl-, isobutyl-, propyl- and others). They are used as preservatives and prevent mold from growing on products, which all sounds good but have unfortunate consequences. They are

carcinogens and hormone disruptors that cause liver damage which disrupts the endocrine system causing reproductive and developmental disorders.

Tallow products serve as an excellent alternative to both high-end and budget skincare options.

I recommend always reading the ingredients of every product you apply to yourself and your children. While it is difficult to avoid environmental toxins in our air and water, we can control what we put on our skin and the food we consume by carefully reviewing every label.

Based in Idaho, Sublime Apothecary & Co. is a botanical skincare line rooted in ancestral wisdom. Founded by Audra, an esthetician-trained formulator, the brand focuses on grass-fed, grass-finished tallow blended with organic botanicals to support healthy, resilient skin.
