BACK FROM THE BED
Did you miss The Beatles rst time around? Don’t miss them now! The Upbeat Beatles are a rockin’ band with tight musicianship and powerhouse vocals! You’ll be jumping from the word go! There isn’t a band to touch them - 8 bars of “Twist and Shout” and you will know why! Breath taking harmonies and guitar solos all wrapped up in Scouse humour, the audience will be left on an emotional high. From the depths of the Cavern to the Apple roof top, through Beatlemania, America, Sergeant Pepper to Abbey Road, their attention to detail will draw you into the world of the Beatles like no other show. If you love the Beatles you'll love this show, and if you don't love the Beatles you'll love this show!
Hello, Seann here. Did you know that the comedians have to write their own blurb? I nd that absolutely insane. What am I meant to say? “I’m fantastic, come and look at me talk”? I don’t know. It’s me. I do stand-up. I guess I can start with the fact I renamed the tour. Sticking with ‘Same Again?’ felt a bit triggering after the year we’ve had. So it is now called Back from the Bed. Some of the material will be the same as I had always planned and some of it will be new because it will be difcult to avoid mentioning the last year in which millions of decent people tragically lost their lives to TikTok. Unquestionably the best observational comic of his generation – The Guardian

It is said that charity begins at home. For Alan Bennett, it began at the bottom of his drive with a custard yellow van inhabited by an irascible eccentric who refused to budge. The Lady in the Van is the true story of Miss Shepherd, an offbeat woman of uncertain origins, who “temporarily” parked her broken-down van in writer Alan Bennett's London driveway, and proceeded to live there for the next 15 years. Miss Shepherd’s stay may have been a blight on Bennett’s front garden, but it eventually allowed him to unravel the fascinating story of her life - for which we are all eternally indebted.
