That seems to be the question regarding today’s mortgage and stock markets. How much longer will the Fed continue to offer its support? As experts try to figure this out we have seen some pretty dramatic moves in interest rates. Unfortunately they have been going the wrong direction. But let’s face it, did we really expect rates to stay so low for so long. Plus they are still good despite the recent increase. One positive note is that property values are increasing and loan products (especially jumbo) are coming back to the markets. A lot of clients who were unable to refinance due to their value are now able to look into refinance options. Interest only products are also making a comeback!
