Setting the Standard in Las Vegas Real Estate Most Participants Feel The Market Is Strong The trend seen recently is good news for the housing market. This small decline is no reason for panic.

Understandable circumstances led to the dip, but demand for housing is still strong in the U.S. “Competition for existing houses on the market remained stiff last month, as low inventories in many markets reduced choices and pushed prices above some buyers’ comfort level,” said Lawrence Yun, the NAR’s chief economist. “The demand is there for more sales, but the determining factor will be whether or not some of these buyers decide to hold off even longer until supply improves and price growth slows.”

On a year-over-year basis, the sales of existing homes is much higher. The index revealed pending home sales settled at 94.3 in the Northeast during June. This

is 12 percent higher when compared on a year-overyear basis. In addition, the Midwest, South and West regions are all higher when compared to the previous year. According to the NAR, existing-home sales are expected to jump 6.6 percent to 5.27 million total sales in 2015. Strong demand is good news for the real estate market.

“Strong price appreciation and an improving economy is finally giving some homeowners the incentive and financial capability to sell and trade up or down,” noted Yun. “Unfortunately, because nearly all of these sellers are likely buying another home, there isn’t a net increase in inventory. A combination of homebuilders ramping up construction and even more homeowners listing their properties on the market is needed to tame price growth and give all buyers more options.”

One season spent in the refreshing climate of the wild valley was enough to restore his health to a formidable vigor, and he vowed to return each summer for the rest of his life. They resolved to build a beautiful grand hotel, the likes of which might only be found in the resorts of the wealthy.

t seems the buzzword in fitness lately is Pilates. Just what is Pilates, and how can you know if it’s right for you?

1½ c 6 oz

4 ½ tsp ½ c

heavy cream semisweet dark chocolate, in small pieces unsweetened cocoa powder pasteurized egg whites

1/8 tsp cream of tartar 1/8 tsp salt ¼ c sugar Whipped cream, for serving

DIRECTIONS In a saucepan, bring ¾ cup of the cream to a boil over medium-high heat. Put the chocolate and cocoa in a heat-proof glass bowl and pour the hot cream over them. Let the mixture stand for about 1 minute and then whisk until blended. Break up any clumps of the cocoa. Set aside at room temperature for about 45 minutes, whisking occasionally to keep the mixture smooth. The chocolate needs to cool to 80°F. In a chilled, dry bowl beat the egg whites on high speed for 10 to 20 seconds or until they begin to foam. Add the cream of tartar and salt and beat for about 1 minute longer or until soft peaks form. Sprinkle the sugar over the whites and continue to beat for 1 to 2 minutes longer or until the peaks are stiff but not dry. Fold the whites into the cooled chocolate (make sure it’s no warmer than 80°F before adding the whites). Pour the remaining heavy cream into the bowl of the mixer and beat with the whisk attachment on high speed for about 2 minutes or until soft peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Serve the mousse spooned on dessert plates or in bowls. Top each serving with a little whipped cream.
