Designers from Gucci to Stella McCartney showed off their top trends on the catwalk. Will these looks spill over from the pages of Vogue into the world of interior design? Progress, however, had a cost – and the fee was often the historic and aesthetic fabric of the city. PHOENIX RE:imagined explores the urbanization of the city and how the diligent work of a preservation minded community resulted in saving historic sites like Heritage Square.

The fashion trends included bright pinks and yellows paired with neutral grays, tans, and dark blues to tone the look down. This is a great style to steal for teen bedrooms, where balancing the hot colors can be a major plus for parents.

A few other patterns and prints that may find their from the closet to your couch: bold winter florals, brocades, winter creams, velvets, and lots of shiny fabrics. Touches of faux-fur and shearling were also hot, lending itself to throw pillows and bedding at home.
