It’s no secret that the younger generations live online, but all ages take advantage of computers and smartphones for everyday needs like googling a yoga studio or researching a podiatrist. So it’s not a big leap to connecting with applications and even people for strengthening personal growth and healthier habits. We’ve rounded up a few 21st century ways to make your mental health a priority.

It all began in 1967 when friends and fellow car enthusiasts Tom Barrett and Russ Jackson held their first car auction as a local fundraiser in Scottsdale.

It soon evolved into a classic car event that would raise the bar and smash records with the sales of such memorable vehicles as the Batmobile and Howard Hughes’ Buick Roadmaster, not to mention the 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake that blew the doors off at $5.5 million in 2007.

The January event famously draw many celebrities, with some putting their own vehicles on the block. Past attendees include Jay Leno, William Shatner, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and former president George W. Bush, plus the late Muhammed Ali and Burt Reynolds.

With the sale of 10 charity vehicles in the 2018 Scottsdale auction, BarrettJackson passed the $100 million mark in funds raised for charitable causes.

The Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auctions have become a world-class event and were recently named the #1 attraction for car enthusiasts by USA Today.

Pesto with basil

½ cup

Shredded mozzarella cheese

DIRECTIONS Place chicken and pesto in medium bowl; toss to coat. Place chicken in large ovenproof skillet or on baking sheet lined with heavy-duty foil. Top chicken with tomato slices and cheese.

Bake at 400° F for 20 to 25 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center.

Remove from oven. Bake for an additional 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Garnish with basil, if desired.
