The Desert Mountain home sales market year-to-date has been fairly even with the same period in 2015. This is encouraging news when you take into consideration that our normal selling season got off to a very slow start in 2016.

The list to sales price ratios range from 3% to 12% depending on the number of days on market.

The summer months usually cause the Desert Mountain sales market to slow down; however, this summer has been active, evidenced by the fact that there are currently 13 homes under contract as of August 1st 2016, compared to only 2 homes that were under contract in the same time frame last year.

New spec-home construction has been steadily on the rise for several years now and there are 25 active spec-home listings on the market today with more in the pipeline, ranging in price from $1,375,000 to $5.5M. We remain optimistic and expect the market to continue momentum as we head into the Fall, heralding a new season with the nearing completion of the Sonoran Clubhouse.
