Fun Facts About DC Ranch ➤ DC Ranch was actually a working cattle ranch. When sales began in 1997, Silverleaf was occupied by cattle. ➤ Originally, DC Ranch was over 8,300 acres. The original plan called for houses being built all the way through Windgate Pass. ➤ There was a natural spring that ran from the top of Windgate Pass down into DC Ranch. Metal piping can still be seen on the trail system. ➤ We started laying out the lots throughout Silverleaf on horseback.
