It seems like all of the pieces are being put together to form a great time for real estate (without getting too crazy). Over the past several months we have seen mortgage rates move up however with the current debt ceiling talks temporarily behind us, we are starting to see mortgage rates move back down. We have also seen a huge comeback in the jumbo market. Programs such as 10% purchase jumbo programs, aggressive arms (10, 7 & 5 yr) along with interest only products have shown us that investors are feeling confident again on jumbo mortgages.
