Phoenix Is Top Performing Home Market During COVID-19 Pandemic Despite economic concerns caused by COVID-19, home prices continued to increase in Phoenix in March.

Arizona’s capital city experienced the largest jump in home prices in March, according to data from S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller, reports MarketWatch. They report that Phoenix had an 8.2 percent annual price gain in March. Seattle came in second place with an annual rate of home-price appreciation of 6.9 percent.

The report collected data from 19 cities across America. Even though many experts believe it is too soon to solidify the impact of COVID-19 on the housing market, the report describes housing prices as “remarkably stable” despite the looming pandemic.

Sliced strawberries Fresh raspberries Fresh blueberries Vanilla bean ice cream, softened Frozen reduced-fat pound cake loaf

DIRECTIONS Slice pound cake in half lengthwise. Place on half in 8 x 4-inch loaf pan lined with plastic wrap, leaving a few inches of overhang. (Wrap and save other half for another use.)

Top with half of the softened ice cream. Top with half of the blueberries and half of the raspberries. Top with remaining softened ice cream. Wrap plastic wrap overhang over ice cream. Freeze until firm (2 hours).

Using plastic wrap overhang, lift cake from pan. Remove plastic wrap and place on platter. Top with remaining blueberries, raspberries and sliced strawberries.
