The hues of 2020 are soft and muted, light and airy with a nod to nature as well as a look ahead to a bright future filled with technological advancements. Pink is one of the hottest hues of the new decade. Soft, muted blushes will steal the show in home design. Benjamin Moore named First Light, a pastel pink, its color of the year. Here, pink is reimagined as a new neutral, being featured in living and dining rooms (it’s not just for girls’ bedrooms anymore). Stylists are pairing pink with natural beiges and whites and bursts of gold to keep the hue modern and sophisticated. To add a more masculine touch, use navy and deep greens to balance the look.

Bake at 375° F for 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies or 9 to 10 minutes for crispy cookies.
