o matter the size of your home, you may always feel that you don’t have enough storage space. However, the key to staying organized is your method of storage, not how much space you have. Don’t believe us? Try these ideas to stay squared away while also spicing up your home decor.

Having trouble keeping your bedroom tidy? Try maximizing the space under your bed with an ottoman mattress that flips up to reveal extra space. Really, ottoman beds do exist and they are perfect for kids’ and guest bedrooms.

In the main bedroom, it may be more practical to store extra linens or offseason items in clear bins that roll under the bed for easy access. You can also install a headboard with built-in shelves to have all your essentials at hand. What about nightstands? If you can’t find space for them, try doubling a desk as a nightstand. Look for pieces that have charging ports and plugs for phones and watches to keep wires and devices at hand. A vintage chest or trunk at the foot of the bed is always ideal for extra blankets and pillows.

The bathroom can become one of the messiest rooms in your home if not organized properly. Are you in need of more storage for your bathroom essentials? Install shelves on the wall or put a modern-style medicine cabinet as your mirror to hide away bottles and accessories. What about a place for your shower products? A shower caddy is always an easy and effective choice, but you could also try a bar cart on wheels that can be rolled over to the shower or tub when needed. This idea is perfect for kids’ bath toys.

Consider using s-hooks over your glass shower door for holding your towels and robe. And, if you want to streamline the look of the bathroom, you can match your tissue box, toothbrush holder, and soap dispenser to create a clean and classy look. Plastic bins to store products under your sink are also a must.

An organized closet can also save you time when you are getting ready to go out for the day. Start by dividing your clothes into a dresser or closet and a separate rolling rack. You want to hang your most worn and most pleasing-to-the-eye pieces on the rack to mix and match for the current season or for upcoming events. Store offseason items in drawers. As for the clothes you hang, try slim velvet-lined hangers for a neat space. Tight on closet space? Try using s-hooks to hang your jeans and pants from the belt loop. Casual tank tops and camisoles can also be hung this way for easy access. For your shoes and bags, hang them on a pegboard that can be installed on your closet wall or place in clear bins on a shelf.

Just remember the key to staying organized is putting everything back in its place at the end of the day … and keep rotating seasonal items to keep your wardrobe and home feeling fresh.

ground cinnamon

2 tbsps

all-purpose flour

1½ tbsp butter

1 tbsp

finely crumbled queso fresco

1 tsp

1 cup

DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350° F. Cook Harvest Apples according to package directions; cool while preparing sauce.

Melt butter in small saucepan over medium-low heat; whisk in flour until combined. Stir in Coffeemate natural bliss Creamer and cinnamon; cook, whisking constantly, for 3 to 5 minutes or until completely smooth and mixture is thickened.

Pour half the sauce on the bottom of medium-size baking dish.

Heat tortillas on an open flame or in a skillet to make the tortillas slightly pliable.

Fill the center of each tortilla with a little less than 1/2 cup of Harvest Apples. Roll up and place seam-side-down over the sauce in dish. Pour remaining sauce over enchiladas.

Bake uncovered for 10 minutes or until heated through.

Sprinkle with grated Abuelita chocolate; top with queso fresco.
