Kalkhoff e-bikes are impressive down to the smallest detail – from the extremely stable frame to the safety light.

1. OPTIMISED REAR SAFETY LIGHT

The rear safety light has a stand light function. It lights up intermittently when braking, which increases road safety.

The newly developed pannier rack mount is concealed under the mudguard. This maximises stability and makes for very clean lines.

The tube is made using state-of-the-art aluminium die-casting technology. This makes it extremely durable and stable. The cables are protected by being routed inside the frame.

THE XION DRIVE. MADE IN GERMANY The sporty drive has outstanding ride characteristics and a high-performance battery.

One special highlight is the Xion drive's hill-descent assistant, which brakes the bike to a preset maximum speed.

caLcuLaTion oF ranges The batteries used in Kalkhoff E-Bikes can last a distance of up to 205 kilometres*. However, the actual distance is dependent on various factors. Naturally, the distance is greater on flat roads than over hilly terrain. Similarly, a headwind or tailwind, like the temperature, can influence battery performance. Besides these external influences, the number of stop-starts, an even pedalling cadence and the bike being in perfect technical condition can also help to increase the distance. And the weight of the rider or the load influences the range, too. The influences are so many and various that the longest range achieved can be up to 7 times as long as the shortest.
