The Cathedral Quarter Business Improvement District (BID) was established in 2007 in response to the growing demand from businesses seeking to carve out a distinct identity amid the emergence of the newly constructed Westfield Centre.
Over the past 16 years, the businesses within the Cathedral Quarter have remained unified, contributing annually to the BID levy. This financial support enables the BID to organise a variety of events and initiatives aimed at enhancing the appeal of the area, creating an inviting environment where people can seamlessly balance work, leisure, and relaxation.
This summer we see the return of ‘Celebrate Sadler Gate’ (29 June) a business community led day of fun, and the roar-some dinofest ‘A Jurassic Day out in Cathedral Quarter’ (20 July). We also welcome for the first time, the Cathedral Quarter Street Circus (10 August) all of which are completely FREE to attend.
We welcome you to join us this summer and explore the businesses that work together to make our area an entertaining place for all to visit.
The Cathedral Quarter Business Improvement District (BID) funds the promotion app ‘LoyalFree’ to bring you offers, deals and events at your fingertips!
The app, which can be downloaded from your smart-phones app store, allows you to see all the local businesses in the area that are offering special discounts, loyalty schemes and more whilst you shop.
With over 50 businesses in the Cathedral Quarter signed up to the scheme, you can save money on food and drink, hair and beauty, fashion and much more!
