Breanna was born to the proud union of Alicia Robinson and Byron McClain of Kansas City, MO.
She graduated East High School and played for the East Bears basketball team. She attended church at an early age. Breanna was loving, beautiful, kind, compassionate and strong. She could light up any room she walked through. She had an angelic smile and the strength of a Lion. Her brother (Cortez) says, she is one of the strongest women he knows. You wouldn’t know she was going through anything unless you knew her personally. And that is how she wanted it. She had a strong passion for music and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. A phrase that kept Breanna motivated is “You got to pop out and show-em”.
On Sept 22, 2019, the “Love of her Life” was born. Her son’s name is Mehki McClain whom she loved dearly. On this day she felt she was the luckiest woman in the world, and she vowed to be the best and strongest mother she could be too him. He kept her strength and courage going every day until her battle with Lupus came to an end. On April 10, 2025, God told Breanna it was time to take her permanent rest. She wants Mehki to know that she will always be with him in his heart, soul and her spirit will continue to watch over him.
She leaves to cherish with fond memories: Her mother, Alicia Robinson, her father, Byron (Felicia) McClain, Son, Mehki McClain, Sister-Anesha McClain (nieces, nephews) Jaylen, Jaycion, Jayvier, Aubrey, Aniya, Legaci and Harmoni, BrotherCortez McDonald, Sister- Shekeyla McClain (nieces) Paris, London, Naveah and Naomi, Sister-Sheila Amrine (nephew) Nasir, Brothers-Amore and Armon. Host of all other family and friends who she genuinely loved.

My “Big Baby” Bre
Dear Bre,
When you were born, I knew you would be something special. You had chocolate skin and beautiful curly hair; you looked like a baby doll. I was wondering if you were real. Lol. But when you started crying loudly because you were hungry, I knew you were real. From them on it’s been a journey. A journey full of love, laughter, pain, but mostly Love. Because no matter what Breanna, I never stopped loving you Bre.
I’m proud of the strength and courage that you displayed through this journey. I’m proud of you for being the mother you were to Mehki, but most importantly I’m proud to be your mom.
I never thought in a million years this day would come. I know you fought hard battles, but I would never imagine this moment right here, right now.
I thought I had went through the hardest thing in my life, but losing you is by far the hardest. No more pain baby.
I am going to miss everything about you Bre. I know when I see Mehki, I’ll see you too. So, this is not goodbye but see you later.
Hug and kiss mamma and all our loved ones for me. I know ya’ll having a time right now, especially with your grandma. You’ve been missing her a lot.
I will forever love you Breanna. I’ll see you when I get there. Rest well Bre. You deserve every bit of it. Love you always daughter,

To my youngest Baby Girl
Bre, you are the definition of strength. If you look up the definition of strength, your pictures should lye next to it, and confidence is your middle name, because courage ran through your veins. You refused to be defeated, and through all your pain and suffering you were still able to give birth and take care of your handsome young Mehki, my grandson, a blessing.
Thank you Bre, for all the people you touched through your life, because I was one of them. The strength you had to keep going, the courage to try whatever needs be and the confidence to shake all the HATERS.
Thank you Babygirl.

“Sometimes you got to pop out and show NIGGAS”.
To Breanna,
My headache, my best friend. Words can’t explain how much I miss you. It still doesn’t feel real and I don’t think I want it to. It feels like a part of me left with you. But I promise I will never ever let Mehki forget about how strong his momma was and how much you loved him. May you rest in peace and I’ll see you when I get there.
I Love you sis (Anesha McClain)
To my sister,
They say “There is no better friend than a sister” and I agree 100 times over. No one could ever replace you! Your smile lit up a room and anything you sat your mind on, you did it! In your last months you lived like you always wanted to! Exactly like we talked about and that makes me happy knowing that, I’m proud of you and I want you to know I will always make sure your son is good, that’s my promise to you! I love you Breanna McClain
Your sister (Shekeyla McClain)
To My Sis,
When we were little, I was always trying out of that “little brother” mentality. Whether that was playing sports or outside riding bikes with friends, I just wanted to show you I was capable of anything. As we got older, we depended on each other on a whole new level and I loved that. You knew you could call me for ANYTHING and I could make it happen if possible. Plenty of nights where we sat and talked about where we messed up in life and how we planned on getting better. Your journey is over Sis but I’m going to continue to live and be the strong man you always thought I was since we were kids. I love you.
Your brother (Cortez McDonald)

Bre,
You had the most light in you out of all of us, and because you ere giving battles you never asked for, I witnessed you become the most resilient. Even though some might see this as an accomplishment, I wish you didn’t have to go through what you did to gain such strength. I hope you are now at peace and I love you forever.
Your sister (Sheila Amrine)
