Dear Family and Friends of Denver Academy, When the DA community comes together in times of need, it’s truly inspiring.

And when the DA community can’t come together in person, we show resilience and ingenuity. In that spirit, we are coming together virtually for DA’s Speakeasy Give Greatly gala event.

We organize this event each spring (23 years now!) to give as greatly as we can to support new and returning students who will need tuition assistance to attend Denver Academy next school year. All proceeds from this annual event go directly to the Tuition Assistance Program.

What is the impact of our participation and giving on this occasion?

112 current DA students were able to enroll this year because they received tuition assistance. That’s more than one in four students!

A successful 2019 Gala provided one-quarter of the $1.46 million available for tuition assistance awards ($369,848), an incredible outcome. With an average award of $13,047, the Gala proceeds are assisting an estimated 28 of those 112 students. Most importantly, the students who depend on this program will have the opportunity to thrive and achieve their dreams.

The impact of giving is magnified at this unprecedented time in our history. So, let’s “speakeasy and give greatly” to ensure we help as many students as possible who need a DA education and whose families depend on the Tuition Assistance Program.

Hotel nights must be consecutive unless otherwise stated. Expiration dates cannot be extended.

AUCTION PROCEDURES You must input your credit card to participate in the auction. If no purchases are made, no charge will be made on your card. After final processing all credit card information will be deleted from the system.

Bidding on live auction items is the same process as bidding on silent auction items.

The completion of the Live Auction will take place during the virtual event.

Once the auctioneer mentions that a live auction item is open, you can then bid on that item through your mobile device until the bidding is over.

Acceptance of the high bid becomes a binding obligation to purchase.

The auctioneer will announce the close of bidding and the highest bidder online will receive the item.
